When's the last time you put on makeup, dolled up for yourself?
Mascara because long eyelashes make you feel invincible
Lipstick because rose colored lips make you feel dashing, daring, erotic
Eyeliner because the wings you install make you feel as if you can soar into anything with your head held high and your confidence to its fullest peak
When's the last time you were kind, open hearted for the sake of your own conscious?
For being "cold hearted" and "alone" won't get you anywhere but a blackened soul and a misunderstood point of view
Being "hard" should not be showcased as the golden glow
The whole perspective is just one locking up their own heart due to the aftermath of another one's mistakes
So busy wrapped up in the grey clouds they created themselves than to find the peak of sunshine that's on every corner
If you want to see who's caused the most damage to you look in the mirror
Don't be the heartbreaker in your own story

Yes, being considerate is amazing but you're living life as well
You deserve nice things too
You are a person too
In all honesty no one can make you happy like you
A pretty purse catches your eye, go back and get it
There's a movie you wanted to see for weeks, go back and watch it
New heels were just released, go back and rock them
Fellas, new Jordan's were just released, go back and buy them
Whatever it may be that puts an everlasting smile on your own face
Go get it, your soul will forever thank you, because you deserve to be happy
