My thoughts swirled around his words.

"We need to talk"

The beautiful view became less pleasing in a instant. I look up at him with a worried expression on my face.

"I'm leaving." He says sternly.

"What? Where? I'm coming with you!" I say frantically.

"Im sorry baby but you can't." He stays calm which pissed me off even more. How could he be calm right now? What am I supposed to do?

"I can't tell you, I've left you a car and a condo to stay in. My house won't be safe. "I don't know." He says empathetic.

"How long Ares?" I say sternly.

"A year, or more." He says quietly.

I'm defeated there's nothing more for me. I wipe the tears from my face and finish off my drink. I look Ares in the eyes then turn to leave. He grabs my hand.

"Don't go like that love."

"How else can I go Ares, I've never felt the feelings I do for you before. Just for you to leave?" I say defeated.

"I don't want you to wait for me. Live your life like you would before me. As much as it pains me, sleep with other men go out and have fun. I want you to live, not wait."

Live? He wants me to live? How do I live as if I never met him when I did. He means everything to me.
