Arc 12: Operation D.A.M. Arc

A12.1: Attack of the Kaiju

It seems like a peaceful day unlike any other peaceful day, until 2 Kaiju never seen before, a colossal one and an armored one, appear out of nowhere and start their path of destruction. As soon as the GDF head to the scene, the 2 unknown Kaiju disappear. Captain Ed Ross suspects that G-Force has something to do with the 2 Kaiju, but General Rick Straizer disagrees. Meanwhile, Megan Goodwin talks to Alice Weeds about the 2 Kaiju that have appeared out of nowhere. Then, G-Force spots 2 new Kaiju. But before they head out, they look at the news saying that "Kaiju are waging war on Humanity." Despite believing what the news is saying, the team decides to search for the Kaiju and capture them.

Mark: "Is this...?"

Dave: "I don't think it is, dude."

A12.2: Leviathan Attacks!

As G-Force goes on the move to prevent Operation D.A.M. from happening, Mark Goodwin gets a call from Alice Weeds saying he can't interfere with the GDF. But, another Kaiju named Leviathan appears. Mark, Dave, and Sam merge with their respective Kaiju and try to capture Leviathan before the GDF arrives. Leviathan proves too strong for G-Force as the GDF arrives, and Mark wants to finish it quickly so they can prevent the war. Then, the GDF opens fire on Leviathan and G-Force together. Despite all that, Mark succeeds in capturing Leviathan.

Ross: "Mark Goodwin has God knows how many Kaiju on his island, and now you're just gonna sit here? To whine about how things work here?"

Straizer: "I'm not talking about a promotion, I'm talking about what's right for the Kaiju and Humanity."

Ross: "I gave you a chance when I put you in charge, all because you were training all night!"

Straizer: "And I have put my body through hell, for the sake of Humanity!"

Ross: "And yet, you put Humanity at risk by working with the enemy! I had to teach Hobbes not to show any mercy because you never had the gut to do what needed to be done!"

Straizer: "I think you leave a trail of destruction every damn place you go! Of course, you've changed. But, what comfort is that to Aaron Hobbes, who you lied to because of your own shortcomings?!"

Ross: "My trail of destruction... doesn't include my own brethren."

 General Rick is not pleased with Captain Ross' decision to attack Godzilla, but Ross is getting sick of Rick's meddling and throws him in the brig. Then, Captain Ross speaks to the higher-ups and requests that they begin Operation D.A.M. right here and now.

A12.3: Operation D.A.M. Is a Go!

With 3 days of preparation for Operation D.A.M. remaining, General Ross gives Aaron Hobbes an order, "Once he's merged with Godzilla, destroy Mark Goodwin." Aaron's not sure that he wants to kill Mark, just because he's his best friend, so Ensign Mikayla Ackerman gives him a little push. Meanwhile, Alice is headed to the United Nations to call off Operation D.A.M. to no avail. Then, G-Force gets word from former General Straizer that Operation D.A.M. is starting to get underway. Then, a fake Godzilla attacks the city, lighting a fire in Humanity's hate for Kaiju.

Ross: "I believe that the power plant disaster is confirmed as an attack by Godzilla! They must pay for what they've done!"

 Now, 3 days have passed and G-Force becomes dedicated to protecting Humanity and Kaiju, while the GDF prepares to destroy every last Kaiju, as Operation D.A.M. gets underway.
