"Damn that boy!" Alice yelled going to her way to the car. 'Granny, this marriage and feeling is not made for this grandson of yours,'" she mimicked exactly his words in his tone with frowning face. "Everything will be known once when she will get married to another man in front of his eyes, then I will see him and his words," She muttered sitting on the car, and looked at Edward who was tapping his fingers on the steering wheel looking lost in his thoughts as he didn't noticed her presence near him.

"Edward, he's fine!" She said seeing him distressed.

He nodded his head still tapping his fingers on the wheel.

She continued looking at him, "But you made the right decision to bring me here as he really needed someone."

"I know, mom," He said igniting the car engine.

"What were you thinking now?"

"Mom, I saw my son's eyes moist today for the first time since he grew up," He said looking at her.

"I felt that I should be with him, but since few days our relationship is not the same like before and I can't bring Meera here as I don't want she knows that Ernest has come to know everything which she was hiding for years that's why I brought you here with me."

"Don't worry. He is alright now!" She patted on his shoulder.

"Mom, you were right," he added, looking straight towards the road.

"I already know, " she said nonchalantly and took out her ear pods from her luxurious clutch.

"Won't you ask on what matter?" he asked looking at her.

"I am always right on every matter." she said with smirk on her face. "So what matter should I ask?"

"I have decided that after Ernest will come back to India. I will announce his engagement."

"What?" Alice looked at him with wide eyes, dropping her ear-pods which she was about to open it before. "With whom are you planning to get him engaged?"

"Ava, daughter of Duke Morris who is completing her internship at Ryan's hospital. She will be a right choice for him."

"Damn Edward! have you lost your mind?" She yelled looking at him abruptly.

"Why?... Mom?" He asked stopping his car.

"Edward, as far as I know she likes Ryan and who did put about her in your head?" she asked looking at him who was looking straight at the road with expressionless face.

"...Don't tell me Lucas or Marco told you something about her?"

"Mom," He looked at her, "Morris himself came over to Lucas's house today for this proposal."

"Whew..." She sat comfortably on the seat and looked ahead. "Morris has lost his mind somewhere like you. He didn't even know her daughter likes Ryan nor Ernest" She said and picked her ear-pods.

"So should I talk to Ryan about her?"

"Of course, you have to convince Ryan as Ava is really a nice girl and as for duke I'll see him," She said engrossing in her phone as she was connecting her ear pods with bluetooth.

"But Mom...Ernest?"

"Edward leave him for now. He is not ready for the marriage," She said looking at him.

He nodded looking at her and started the car again towards his way.
