SonAmy BOOM: What did you say?

Chapter 2

Amy walked out of her house with a smile. A fake smile, but a smile nonetheless. Her eyes were still puffy, but she was certain no one could tell. She locked her door and went to the beach outside of Tails' workshop.

She had on her swim suit underneath her shirt and pants. She took of her clothes and put on her googles. Then dived into the water.

Her side hurt so much, but she couldn't let that stop her from training. As she swam she heard something hit the water near her. She stopped swimming and looked around the water.

Nothing.

She kept swimming. But then she heard the water flop again. Amy hesitated this time. She looked around again, but still saw nothing. Then she looked to the shore.

Two tall men were standing at the shore. She immediately dived into the water as rocks started getting thrown more and more. Then they just stopped. Amy covered her mouth, hoping it wasn't Sonic who had came to her rescue.

She popped her head up from the water. Only to see the shore empty. Then a shadow crossed over her. She looked up to see Shadow's girlfriend getting ready to swoop her up from the water.

"Good thing I came when I did, huh." She smirked as she placed Amy down on the sand. "Oh my...they got you pretty good." She said as she flipped Amy over to see her ripped up swimsuit. "I'm going to take you to my place to get patched up."

Amy didn't know Rouge all that well. She only knew she was dating Shadow. It wasn't easy for everyone to get used to Shadow being with her. It felt different. Shadow liked being alone, but since Rouge came up, that's changed.

"You should close your eyes, pinky." She said and took off full sped to wherever she was taking her. On the way Amy passed out. It had been a very rough day. And being abducted by a woman she didn't know had been the last straw.

Amy woke up about two hours later. She had a large bandage around her arm and side. A few small band aids were on her legs. If Sonic saw her like this...he'd flip.

Amy looked around her surroundings. She lay on a couch and the room itself looked like she was living the forest. Then she realized.

It was a tree.

A hatch opened from underneath Amy's feet and Rouge popped up. "Good, you're awake. I've got you all patched up now. You hungry, pinky?" She asked Amy. Amy nodded and stared around the room. "You live in a tree?" Amy asked her.

"Yup! Since I moved here. Found a nice strong hollow tree to live in. Only have two small floors. Everything else isn't hollow. It's best to not make the entire tree hollow. If you do it'll collapse in a storm." She smiled. "Up here is the kitchen and living room. Downstairs is the bedroom and bathroom."

Amy sat up as Rouge handed her a fruit salad. "It's quiet and peaceful here, ya' know?" She smiled at her. Amy nodded as she ate the fruit salad. She was so hungry. She ate it all in less than two minutes. "You should rest up some more. I'm going to get you back home in a little while. Do me a favor when I drop you off." Amy looked over at Rouge. "Don't go into the forest without someone."

Amy nodded at her, and continued to eat. She didn't really care about the forest, she just wanted to eat.

Later...

Amy was at her house, on her couch, watching a TV show. She heard a knock at the door, but ignored it.

"Amy? It's Sonic. I just wanted to see how you were doing now."

Amy sighed as she stood up and opened the door. Sonic had his hands behind his back and was smiling. Then he saw all the bandages and bandaids. "What happened?" He asked her worriedly. "Nothing, what do you want?" Amy asked him.

"Well, you've gone through a lot lately and...I figured a date would cheer you up." He bowed and presented her flowers. "My treat, we can go anywhere you want to." He looked back up at her and waited for her to say yes.

"...can we just stay here?" Amy asked him. Sonic was a little surprised. She loved going outside to eat. "I bet those idiotic people came by again." Sonic thought angrily. "Sure Ames, anything you want." Sonic smiled, trying to seem not bothered.

"Great, come on in." She said. Sonic watched as he saw her trying to hide the pain she was going through. "Hey Ames, I'll go make something to eat. You pick out something for us to watch." He kissed her cheek and ran to her kitchen.

That's when he looked out her window and saw two men holding rocks crunched down in her flower bed. Something in Sonics mind snapped. His eye twitched two times then he stomped out the back door to outside.

He grabbed the men and glared at them. "You two! You're the ones hurting my Amy! He threw them to the ground and stomped on their tails. The front door swung open and Amy ran outside. "Sonic! What are you doing?!"

Sonic ignored her and while standing on their tails punched them multiple times. "Sonic!" Amy pulled him off of their tails and they stared at him in shock. "I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU HURT HER AGAIN!!! I BETTER NOT SEE YOUR FACES HERE EVER AGAIN!!" His voice had changed drastically. He clutched his fists angrily and stared at them as the men ran away.

"Sonic-"

"Why'd you stop me?! I could've revenged you! I would've made the pay!"

"Because you would've killed them, Sonic! You have to control that anger you keep bottled up inside of you." She glared at him. Sonic looked down at the ground. "They deserve what they got, Sonic. Leave it at that."

Amy put her arm around him and Sonic followed her back inside.

Rouge had seen everything unfold. She wondered if Sonic would still like the names of those two idiots. She flew down and pulled out a notepad and a pencil. She wrote down the names on the paper. She hung it on Amy's door then left.
