Life is Beautiful
The Cuts and the Bruises
The Sun and the Rain
The Wounded heart and the Blinding Pain
The Smile of a loved one and a Prayer of the Heart
The Carefully Etched Tombstone and the Death did we Part
The Feeling of Family as they stick around and they help with the hardship that can always be found
The Cry of a baby such a lonesome sound
The Comfort of a Mother who comes around
The Ice in the winter and the wind in the trees
The agony that turns me to my knees
It's all beautiful and terrible and easy and hard.
But it's worth it.
And I choose to live it.
Because without that pain and sorrow
I can't feel that peace and joy
And without that fear of tomorrow
I'll never treasure today
