5. feral creature of darkness

Yashiro Nene... I hoping they won't change it. It's perfect. I can't think of what we're talking about only Yashiro, how it will affect her, and that smile that brings a cold-hearted creature like myself happiness.... But maybe with her brother being around during it will calm her... I wish that I could be like him, to be the one she sees, her muse, her Everything, I want to be family... Her husband... It'll come eventually I promise that to myself.... My poor twin, crushing on a girl who will never see him as anything else but a friend... Why can't he stop chasing her... Then again why can't I stop thinking about Yashiro... What is love... Is this what it feels like...   I'm snapped out of my train of thought the second Yako smacks me...

"What?" I say having no idea what's going on... When did Kako get here?

"Number 7 do you even know what's going on or were you to busy drooling over human women..." I blush at Hakubo's comment and look away...

"Of course..." The silence tells me they know I just lied "No... I don't"

"Great... Number 5 explain to him privately about what we were saying... No.2 can Fill you in."

The last thing I hear from my other fellow mysteries comes from No.4...

"AYO WHAT YOU MEAN BY THAT GOOD SIR?"

No.5... Tsuchigomori sits at the table in the private space I sit across from him...

"Amane... We have been ordered back to Siberia..."

I let that sink in then the thought of her comes in and invades my mind

"What about Yashiro I- I haven't turned her yet I haven't had time shit. Shit." I start freaking out

"You can bring her... But Goto her brother he must stay behind he will be left in Forager's pit."

The name of her brother makes me jealous... He takes up her mind... I should be the only man that occupies her mind... Wait she knows where he is.... I feel myself lose control... I run off towards where he's being held

"Ah fuck... Someone get Sumire! No.7 is becoming bloodlust"

I find Yashiro... I'm nothing but a savage animal now my thoughts get jumbled. I pull her away from her brother and hold her close to my chest...

"Mine! she's mine!"

I growl at the thing that threatens me having her... Him! The other mysteries arrive... She's mine... I growl in my feral state

"She's mine stay away! I'll kill you if you dare come near my woman!"

Sumire doesn't try to approach instead she speaks to Yashiro...

"Yashiro... I know you're scared of him right now but please try to comfort him..."

"Okay I'll try..."

She begins touching my chest, head, and arms and speaking in a soft gentle voice that makes me calm down...

                              ~Yashiro's pov~
I watch Amane melt into my touch... His eyes return to their amber colour...  Something... Went wrong with him, he bever acted like this before... Is it because I had let him feed from me? He falls asleep and is carried back to his room... I think. I follow Sumire

"Sumire what was that?"

"He's jealous Nene... Vampires are very jealous creatures.... You have bite marks. He fed from you... I always knew you were desperate."

My brother... My younger brother seeing the fact that I've been marked. It hurts. I watch him look at Tsukasa.

"Bring me back to Forager's pit"

"You're in love with a dampire... What does that make you..."

"I didn't want you getting involved with this kinda stuff, besides I can't exsit around your new parasite... I need to stay here in Japan... You go to Russia... I just want you to be happy."

He kisses my cheek and hands me the postage information for Sakura's place...

"Write to me... Goodbye..."

And with that he was gone Tsukasa brought him back to Forager's pit and that's that. I have a feeling this isn't over for tonight...

                    ~Time skip to midnight~
I can't lay next to Amane right now... I'm scared I'll just go see Tsukasa... He's always cheerful. And he knows Amane well. As I get up to leave he opens his eyes...

"Where are you going... You can't leave... Come lay back down..."

That isn't Amane that's his feral state I run for the door and leave... He catches me and shows his fangs and hisses at me... His eyes are red.

"Amane please stop you're hurting me!"

He is squeezing me tightly. He's usually so gentle with me, what happened to the kind gentle Amane I know? I hear Mei and Tsukasa come out of their rooms.

"Tsukasa hold him down I'll go get help."

Tsukasa forces Amane off me and traps him in a bear hug... Well a very aggressive bear hug. Other people arrive. Tsukasa screams as Amane attacks him forcing Tsukasa to let go... Hakubo Slams him against the wall then hold him still in his arms while Sumire give Amane a shot of something I watch him get carried off again... Tsukasa cries out as Sumire remove everything but his boxers so she can examine his wounds... Deep wounds cuts, bite marks litter his arms. Horrific deep scratch wounds cover his chest and legs... He whimpers as Sumire heals them... She gives him animal blood and an animal bone to chew on and puts him to bed... I return to Amane's room...

I sleep alone without him for four nights, I haven't seen him since the incident... I think about what my brother called him. a parasite. I miss him, I miss my so called parasite.

I go to the basement to see him... He looks so sad, Laying on the cold floor. He's wrapped up in his cape getting at least some comfort. I wrap my arms around his body.

"Amane please tell me you're okay..."

He pulls me into a little spoon position and spoons me... Gently caressing the bruises he had given me. The soft man I knew, is back.

"Yashiro please forgive me, I didn't mean to hurt you! I was scared of losing you. I really don't deserve your love or trust anymore..."

"Please calm down I forgive you... I'm just glad you're back to your normal self."
