Taking On Life (Squeal To LHS)

Chapter 1

Destiny's Pov

" How many times do I have to tell you to stop leaving your socks everywhere " I groan as I pick up Ashton's socks. 

"Hey that was because of that sock fight this morning so no whining since you started it" Ashton shouted from the kitchen. 

It has been a month since we tied the knot but I think this whole living alone thing is working out...I THINK. Last week I almost set the kitchen on fire for leaving the rice unattended because someone was distracting me.  Ashton well he didn't exactly know how to work our new washing machine which flooded the laundry room with bubbles. Overall I think that we are doing just fine. Right after we got married we had our little honey moon in Paris which I got overexcited that I started to wheeze. Soon after that we celebrated my birthday ( a/n: um i forgot how old she was so now let's say she turned 21). Calum threw a 4 month anniversary surprise dinner for Alexa. Luke has not been himself lately which bugs me a whole lot. Michael just being Michael. Everything has been fine with no arguments between Ashton and I, but like I said with Luke. It bugs me so much that every time we see each other; all we do is argue about that girl he's always with. The boys don't really like her either but sadly we have to put up with it just for him.

I go to the kitchen and see Ashton making some spaghetti so I decided to help with the dinner.  He hands me a bowl and says " Make some of your fruit salad pleeeease" I look at him and nodded while getting the fruit out. 

"Soo how's Alexa and Calum?" Ashton started the conversation with while both us still preparing dinner. 

"Good so far. I never seen Calum this happy. It makes me happy in a way" I smile remembering how those two met.

"Seriously, like you can be talking about her and he just smiled and starts blushing" Ashton chuckles.

"I'm serious those two are just adorable" I smile finishing up the fruit salad. 

We both set up the table and I serve the both of us but then when we dig in my smile suddenly drops.

"You okay there?" Ashtons asked sounding worried.

I shake my head no, "You perfectly know this is about Luke and that girl. He is just so..its so dumb I don't even know how to criticize it! Like yes she is really gorgeous and all but I just do not like her at all! I know I sound all redundant and all but I just hate the fact that he is changing because of her" 

Ashton just sat there not knowing how to respond until he set his fork down, " You don't sound redundant and I don't blame you. We ,by we I mean Calum, Michael, and I, don't like her either and you know that but sadly every time he brings her home we have to but up with her dumb bullshit. Like She has no respect towards anyone and only cares about herself. She's so selfish and stuck up"

Finally we both actually agree on what someone is. We both finish our dinner and we both clean up. I go to the couch then suddenly someone knocks on the door. I go to open it and saw Luke. yay. I tell him to come in as I have a seat on the couch. Ashton comes to the living room with a big "babe" but then goes quiet as he sees Luke; he greets him either way.

" So, I was wondering if you wanted to get together and have a bonfire at Calum's place. We all agreed to it and we wanted to invite you" Luke says pursing his lips together.

"Yeah sure we'll go. Day and time?" I ask.

"Tomorrow around 7 at night " He responds quickly. I nod and look back at him hoping nothing dumb comes out of his mouth.

"How's your girl?" Ashton asked Luke and I raise an eyebrow at Ash.

"Well we aren't dating but she is doing fine. She is also going to the bonfire" Oh well how lovely. "I hope you guys don't mind"

"Not at all" I smile. He nodded and left then quickly right after I groan loudly with Ashton laughing.

"Why are you laughing? You don't like her either" I say.

"True but it is kinda funny seeing you kinda mad" He chuckles.

"I just feel that she is going to hurt someone..I can feel it" I sigh.

"Yeah yeah, come on let's go out so just put on something decent" He smiles kissing my forehead. I head upstairs and put on skinny jeans, black converse, and a black plain shirt. I put my hair in a bun and wing my eyeliner then head back downstairs. I see Ashton with some black joggers, a white shirt ,and white vans. Both of us make our way to the car and I turn on the radio. 

"Remember how we first met?" Ashton broke the silence.

"Oh my gosh...honestly it was weird but I don't regret it" I chuckle.

" oh my god he's so hot " He said trying not to laugh while mocking me.

" Says the one who used to have wet dreams about me?" I laugh.

"Well at least I didn't fall out of nowhere and broke my ankle" He shoots back.

"Right. Because the one who..um.." I ran out of comebacks. Crap.

Ashton started laughing but parked the car infront of a lazer tag place but yet continued to laugh. I roll my eyes and get out of the car while Irwin over here is still dying. Was it really that funny? After 5 minutes he came out of the car and took a deep breath and chuckled.

" That was hilarious" He said opening the door for me to enter.

"Um, yeah it was" I say with a half smile. We pay for our entrance and get our vests and guns. The guy who had a "happy face" took us to the arena with some other people and turned off the lights.

"Ready to get your ass kicked by your wife?" I smirk.

"Destiny, honey, open your eyes, this is reality and not a dream" Ashton smirked. The horn went off meaning it was game time.

Omg guys I AM SUPER SUPER SORRY FOR BEING A BAD PERSON AND NOT UPDATING I FEEL SO BAD. THIS CHAPTER PROBABLY DID NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL BUT I FELT REALLY BAD FOR LEAVING YOU GUYS HANGING THERE LIKE NOTHING. i still need a butt load of updating on the other books which i am FOR SURE i should be able to update before Christmas. i am such a bad updater person-er. yeah but seriously. 

WELL you guys should know who that girl that Destiny strongly dislikes is ;) ANYWHO yeah
