LYDIA CHAFFMAN'S name was known when the story of the 1996 Woodsboro stories were told, then the many copies after that. When people said her name, everyone thought "Oh, that survivor" but Lydia was more than that. More than just a broken girl who survived.
She hated every mention of those murders. She lost her best friend to them and 1996 and her boyfriend in 1997. She lost people, through the psychotic murders of the several ghostfaces, who were all people she trusted, and somehow she survived. Just a small town girl being raised by her older brother.
Just an innocent girl.
