I had made my way into the gas station hoping that their slushy machine wasn't broken after going on a much needed walk after my doctor's appointment today. I was just over it.

" Do you need anything else? " The cashier asked after ringing up all the junk food I could carry up to the register.

Suddenly I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket so I took it out and unlocked to see a text message from Tyler. I figured it was probably about what happened earlier today and to be honest I didn't really felt like talking about it. All I wanted right now was to take a nap because, I literally have no energy for anything.

" I had a doctor's appointment earlier today. It confirmed what I knew already. I'm fucking pregnant, Kendall. " I replied.

" I didn't think Tyler had it in him. I mean if it is his baby? Please tell me it isn't his. "

" Are you going to get an abortion then? "

" I think you're making a huge mistake by going through with this pregnancy. You should at least consider looking for a couple who can't have any children first. "

" At first I didn't know what I was going to do after taking the pregnancy test. After awhile I had forgotten all about this event happening and I wished that everything would be like it was before finding out. Now I realized that I do want this baby. I thought that you would be happy for me considering that you're a

" I feel like you've been avoiding me and I don't know why. We barely even talk anymore. "

Before I could finish what I was going to tell her, she hurried off in the opposite direction of where I was heading. I eventually made it home, throwing the empty cup in the trash and laying down against the couch getting my blanket with the remote in my hand flipping channels on the television.

" Are you still upset with me? " Tyler asked.

" No. " I replied.

" Then why are you downstairs watching this when we could be doing it in the bed upstairs. "

" We have the whole weekend to ourselves. It's not like I have to be home at a certain time. " I smiled.

Tyler got the remote that was laying next to me and turned what I was watching off. Causing me to sit up straight, stretching before standing up following behind him as he held my hand walking upstairs to his room and closing the door behind him as I sat on the bed placing my foot underneath my leg. Which I know is bad for my circulation but I still do it out of habit.

" I've thought about the situation we are currently in after you left earlier this evening and I don't blame you for needing some time alone. " He spoke.

" I promise I'm not upset with you. I've just had so much on my mind lately and usually I feel better if I get some fresh air. " I had put the rest of my hair up into a ponytail.

The room fell silent as Tyler reached into one of his top draws searching frantically around until he came across a tiny box that he held in his hand.

" I wanted to wait until after your graduation to purpose. But now that you're pregnant, I feel like there is no right time to do this now. " He took the engagement ring sliding it onto my ring finger on my left hand.

" What kind of engagement is that? " I laughed.

" The kind where I won't get in trouble for fucking a 17 year old and getting her pregnant I might add."
