Death.
Was something, I always was aware of it lingered over me all my life. I was an ember of flame that died long ago but clung to a kindle.
A large burst of dark energy pooled into Merga's hands launching balls of shadows at Stitches. The older woman twirled her body avoiding each attack, swinging her body around like a ballet dancer.
"Stand! Fucking! Still!" The fake witch screamed firing magic with each word.
After Rui's death, I was alone in that hospital room pleading for it to take me to, I sat there marinating in my misery. I tried dowsing my ember to no avail.
Stitches smiled under her mask not paying attention to the red-haired woman basking in the moonlight. "The moon looks lovely tonight." She remarked further irritating Merga.
"What are you spouting about wench!" The red-haired girl slammed the staff in front of her embedding it into the ground. "{Devil's Embrace}" She chanted; large cracks raced toward Stitches.
"Oh? Haven't seen that one before..." The old woman smiles jumping to avoid the attack until red hands shot from the crack grasping her form. "Well, aren't you a bit handsy?"
Merga cackled at the old woman. "This is what you get! Now you going to die for being so stupid!" The fake witch made a triangle pose with her hand looking through the hole. "{Evil Eye}" Merga screamed viciously as a purple beam of light launched from her eye toward Stitches.
Stitches stared at the colour unmoving as time slowed around her.

"Hey Shi-chan?" a voice called in, knocking on the door frame softly. "Can I come in?"
Shiko looked over slightly from her laptop and then type on her keyboard with a small grunt. "What do you want, Kazumi." a robotic voice asked.
"Can't I visit my childhood friend?" Kazumi gasped dramatically.
"We were never friends, only our brothers were." The robotic voice chimed in.
Kazumi flopped onto Shiko's hospital bed her dyed purple hair spread across the white sheets. "I'm shocked, aghast, astonished, offended even!" She stopped to look over at the frail woman with short black hair, Shiko's dark eyes bore into Kazumi's making her laugh. "Your eyes, never fail to make me heated." She sighed lowly.
Shiko's pale face flushed red, as she grabbed a pillow smacking her with it repeatedly albeit weakly. The purple-haired girl kept laughing at the shorter girl's expense until she pulled out a game. Shiko paused staring at the game with a raised eyebrow, dropping the pillow her boney hands took the game softly, a gold front spread across. 'Yggdrasil...' she read in her head, brushing over the word with her fingers.
