what if Harry Potter finds out about Wizarding world before Hagrid introduces him. Basically in this fanfiction Harry is not a pawn in Dumbledore's games, he is his own person. There is Dark Lord, Light Lord but what if there is a lord that balance...
Harry Potter is a normal 10 year old boy with some "freakiness" as Dursleys say. As far the public life goes he has led a miserable life and it doesn't seem to be changing soon. At the age of one Harry Potter was left on the doorsteps to the Dursley house, and for the past 10 years he was treated worse than a house elf (though he doesn't know what house elf is).
Now the reason Vernon says the boy is a freak is because the strange incidents that had happened in the past years like at the age of 7 during Dudley's Birthday the whole family (including Harry) went to a zoo but what was surprising was when Harry supposedly spoke to a Boa Constructor and then the glass separating them disappeared (like magic). or once Vernon tried to beat Harry for getting better grades than Dudley but suddenly the stick vanished to God knows where.
Today is a special day because today is Harry's 11th Birthday, even though no one cares for it like the past 10 years of his life. Just after waking up and brushing he heard something.
"Go get the mail, boy!!" Vernon's voice boomed from the kitchen.
"Yes" Harry replied monotonously.
When harry was picking up the mail while looking at the address he saw something weird.
somehow there was a letter mentioned to him and said "The Cupboard under the stairs."

Now even though the life of Harry Potter was negligible better than the original but the family still lived together and were somewhat understanding so Harry has heard from his Aunt Petunia about the Wizarding world and about his parents. As he came back in the kitchen he gave rest of the letters to Vernon (He calls him by name because he doesn't like him), but kept the letter which was addressed to him. he reads it.

He also saw another page that listed the required materials that needed to be bought before the term started on 1st September.

after reading the letter he was not actually surprised by this but was somewhat excited, but he narrowed his eyes when he saw the name Albus Dumbledore at the bottom.
"I will have to be careful, from what Aunt Petunia told me he was a meticulous planner, so he set me up with Dursleys for a reason" Harry thought, "but i am not a pawn in his plans, whatever they must be" he continued.
He told the family about the school and wrote the answer back telling that he will join and he doesn't need assistance because his Aunt will take him to London on monday next week, Dudley was to go to Smeltings which was a prestigious school in London, so the family planned to take Harry along and drop him in London.
On monday the family sat in the car of Vernon and got comfortable for 1.5 hr drive to London. After being dropped off at London Just across Leaky Cauldron, the family drove past and left him coughing due to the smoke.
