Dear Mr.Right,
I got two dogs!
Lately, I've literally been getting everything I ever wanted.
A healthy and loving relationship....pets...literally what could go wrong? :)))"Yooo!" My brother announced as he barged into my room.
Of course, I immediately looked at him as if he was crazy—because in all honesty, he had to be missing a couple of screws to be walking into my room unannounced.
"Uh hello?" I questioned.
"Is that your brother?" Yamir questioned from FaceTime.
"Unfortunately." I sighed.
"What do you want and why are you barging in?" I questioned, looking up at Tariq.
"You gotta bounce." He spoke, leaning against my doorframe as he chewed on a piece of candy.
"Nigga you're in MY room!" I scoffed.
"I'm talking about leaving the whole house." He smirked.
"What?" I asked in confusion.
"Pops going out of town for work this weekend—I'm tryna have the house to myself." He further explained.
"Why do I have to leave for that—I've been here plenty of times by myself when Dad leaves for work," I spoke.
"—you stay on your side of the house and I'll stay on mine!" I told him, pointing.
"Or you can just leave for the weekend—I got my bitch flying down, we gon need the house to ourselves." He smirked.
"I thought you were single?" I questioned, grimacing.
"I am." He shrugged.
I shook my head at that then spoke, "Not happening, sorry."
"Aht aht, you owe me remember." He stated, raising his eyebrow.
I cut my eyes at him and then groaned.
"Baby just stay over here for the weekend," Yamir spoke up, chuckling.
"See!" Tariq smiled.
"Shut up," I told him
"—and mir are you sure?" I then asked, looking back down at my phone.
"course, you're already coming over today anyways—might as well stay the night." He cheesed.
As usual, his smile was contagious and I broke out into one of my own before speaking, "okay."
"oKaY." Tariq mocked, plastering on a high-pitched feminine voice to annoy me.
"go to hell." I told him, flipping him off.
He only laughed in response as he walked out of my room.
After Yamir and I hang up, I went ahead and started packing for the weekend.
