Pin looked down at the water in disbelief, "No...No, he wouldn't... Our team was there for him...I was there for him...He'd never think of jumping...How come he never told me he felt this way?!"
Leafy was just staring blankly at her, maybe a little shocked about what Pin said, like she never expected Pin to think Coiny would take his own life.
~Book's P.O.V.~
Is she here? Book thought worriedly, looking for Taco. Everyone else from BFB was here, so she must be here too.
"Taco?" Book called out, walking toward the group. She thought she saw her, but it only seemed to be Loser. She then saw Profiley, who was beside Taco, running over to them.
"Taco! There you are!" Book said, standing about 2 feet away from her. She smiled, although Taco didn't really smile back. In fact, she didn't react at all. She must've never forgiven Book for how she treated her, and that made Book feel a stinging pain of regret, knowing she'll probably never be forgiven. She decided it would be better to leave Taco alone. She turned around and walked away.
When she looked to see what the other contestants were doing, she saw Pillow behind the burnt remains of the hotel, looking around cautiously. She had what seemed to be a bloody pocketknife. She watched her slowly walk up behind Taco, making Book scream out her name.
Fortunately, before Pillow could hurt Taco, someone tackled her. It was hard to see what was going on, but when Book got closer she realized Liy had tackled her, pinning her to the ground.
Pillow was trying to stab her somewhere with her small weapon, making a small cut in one of Liy's eyes. She screamed, getting off Pillow and covering her eye, blood leaking out of the wound.
"Pillow! No!" Book said, trying to grab her—which only resulted in her getting stabbed in the stomach. She backed away, holding her stomach as she saw Pillow still trying to fight Liy. She ran up to Pillow, grabbing her arm and yanking her back, throwing her onto the ground. Pillow stood up, now only focusing on Book. She grabbed her, shoving the knife deep into her stomach.
Then Pillow dragged the knife up her chest until she passed her mouth. Pillow then put her hand through Book's wounds, pulling out Book's heart, threatening to cut the arteries connecting her heart to her body.
She turned around to look at the other contestants, smiling, "If anyone gets near or tries to hurt me, I will cut off Book's heart, and you all will be to blame,"
The contestants stared in horror at Book, horrified at what Pillow had done to her. They wanted to help her, but couldn't move. The pain she felt was unbearable.
Taco was right behind them but backed away. Book doubted she wanted to help, either that or she was too afraid to. But it didn't matter. She was basically a goner now.
Death P.A.C.T. Again looked worried. Book could understand what they were going through. They wanted to help her, but if they got too close she'd already be dead.
Tree looked at her, talking to her through sign language; and the only reason she knew it was because of Teardrop.
"I'm sorry Book. No matter how much we want to help you, we can't without killing you," He explained, shaking his head.
Book nodded, showing she understood. She deserved this anyway.
"Let her go!" Liy said, getting closer to Pillow. She only smiled as she slowly started cutting through one of her arteries, blood dripping onto the ground.
"Liy! Please don't!" Book warned her, wincing in pain as Pillow cut through her artery, doing the same thing to another. Her pain was intense, but she remained calm. She knew the pain wasn't going to be gone any time soon.
Liy only took a step closer. Book shook her head, trying to tell her to get back, but it was no use. Pillow then decided to speed up the process by just ripping off the heart. Book fell to the floor, instantly dying. Pillow smiled, throwing the heart at someone in hopes to scare or gross them out. She looked back at Liy, ready to attack when needed.
She only looked at her in hatred, which made Pillow smile. She could feel someone staring at her from behind and turned around to see Taco. She was about to lunge at her, but Pillow started running, trying to get away from the scene.
Taco and Liy started running after her, but Pillow was pretty fast.
She looked back behind her one last time before running into the forest.
