Leafy and Firey ran for help, looking for Golf Ball. She was the only one who could stop X, or at least make sure he doesn't kill anyone else. They were already close to Goiky, and they had no time to waste.

Firey tripped on grass or air and fell. Luckily, Leafy was there to stop his fall, grabbing onto his hand, as they both knew if he was touching even a millimeter of grass, everything around them would go up in flames.

They saw Teardrop approach them, waving.

"Hey TD!" both Firey and Leafy said at the same time before Leafy glanced at Firey in a friendly way.

Teardrop was saying something in sign language that Leafy didn't understand, but Firey seemed to fully understand, "So wait, wha- WHAT?! The hotel is on fire?! Is everyone- oh, ok, everyone's safe...eexxpet for Winner. He risked his life for- Wait- so you're saying Fanny, Grassy, Winner, and Ice Cube are dead? Can't you gu- oh right yo- You had a recovery machine? And it just stopped working? Huh,"

Then, Fiery turned to Leafy to tell her what TD said, slightly leaning into her, "She said that this morning the hotel mysteriously went up in flames, everyone escaped luckily, except for Winner, who ran back in to save Clock, but sadly was trapped inside the building, leaving winner devastated,"

Leafy now was even more confused, but they still had to get Golf Ball, "Hey, Teardrop? Do you know where Golf Ball is?"

Teardrop shrugged before she seemed to have an idea. She signaled them to follow her as she started running. Leafy and Firey followed close behind, making sure Firey didn't trip again.

Her running led them to the stairs of Golf Ball's lab, where she stopped. She pointed down the stairs as if it wasn't obvious that she was likely down there.

"Thanks, Teardrop!" Firey called out as he started running down the stairs, as Leafy nodded her thanks as she followed Firey.

As they got into the lab, Leafy felt liquid under her foot, lifting it to see red blood. She wanted to scream but tried her best to stay calm.

"Hey! Golf...Ball.....oh..." she heard Firey say in the distance, hearing the sadness in his tone of voice.

Leafy shuddered as she walked over to where Firey was, discovering Golf Ball in front of a fallen grey block. As she looked closer she saw neon-green tufts of fuzz covered with blood as well, realizing what might've happened.

As if Golf Ball knew what Leafy was about to ask, she responded to what she was about to say, "Tennis Ball died... and it's my fault..I put him under the metal..I killed him... if only he didn't walk down here...none of this would've happened..."

Firey looked at Leafy, seeming conflicted if he should ask Golf Ball for her help so soon. Leafy shrugged, answering his unasked question. Before he turned around she saw him open his mouth, before speaking to her.

"Uh, Golf..Ball? I know you're still mourning for Tennis Ball's death but we have a ser-" was all Firey could get out before Golf Ball screamed at him, "OH! RIGHT! EVERYONE NEEDS MY HELP WHEN I'M DOING SOMETHING SERIOUS JUST BECAUSE I'M THE SMART ONE! HOW ABOUT YO GO ASK BASKETBALL OR SOMETHING? I DON'T KNOW!"

She was smiling as she yelled at him, with her screaming making him flinch, "YOU KNOW WHAT?! NEVERMIND! WHAT STUPID SITUATION IT COULD BE THIS TIME ANYWAY?!"

"Well... Uh.. X just murdered two people and we wondered if you could help...like...uh.. trap him somewhere or something?" he asked worriedly.

"Oh. Ok take back what I said, that is important," GB said, her smile fading.

"C'mon, before X kills anyone else!" Leafy said, making the ball jump slightly.

Leafy followed behind Firey and Golf Ball as they ran up the stairs, but she noticed Golf Ball's uneasiness and took notice, "What's up? Don't you want to help out?"
