[2] tpn Emma x Norman "You have to eat something!"

This is before they found out about the demons.

3rd POV

Emma had maybe a little crush on Norman. The only problem is that everyone thinks she and Ray like each other. So even if Norman liked her he would never think she likes him back.

Emma didn't know that Norman liked her. But he thinks he knows that Ray likes his crush. It's like some love storeys from books.

On a sunny Sunday, the kids woke up like they always do. Only Norman still lay in his bed. He was not feeling well. Not like he is having a cold or a fever, it was just the thought of Ray and Emma dating. In his mind, a picture of them holding hands broke his heart.

Before he could try to get this thought out of his head, Emma came to his bed. With her usual smile, she asked: "Are you okay, Norman? You seem off and sick. I brought you some breakfast. Mum said it's okay when you eat in bed."

So she sat down on the edge of his bed and gave him a tablet with some food. It looked delicious. But Norman was not in the mood to eat something. So he just said: "Thank you Emma, but I'm not hungry."

'That's suspicious. He usually always wants to eat something. Even when it's just a little bit.' "Are you Sure? I could feed you when you are feeling too tired. You have to eat breakfast. Not eating isn't good for your health."

Norman knew that she won't stop till he ate a bit, so he just mumbled: "Okay, you won."

Emma smiled brighter than before when this was even possible. "Great! Now open your mouth."

"No, I can eat myself.", Norman protested. "I'm not feeling that bad."

"Come on. Can I just help you a bit? Please?", she asked with puppy eyes. Norman couldn't say no again, so he just nodded.

After Norman ate everything Emma brought him, mum appeared at the door. "I'm just here to check on you, Norman. You seem healthy."

"But I'm not feeling well.", the boy said.

"I'm pretty sure Emma will help you through the day. And don't stay just in bed go outside too.", their mother said.

"I will take care of Norman. He is my best friend and he would do the same for me.", Emma said loudly.

The words 'best friend' broke Norman's heart. He was just a friend to her and he probably will never be more.

Emma knew that she chose the wrong words when she said best friend to the boy she likes.

The rest of the day was quiet between Norman and Emma. They both just smiled at each other from time to time. When dinner came Norman still wanted to stay in bed. So Emma brought food for both of them into the sleeping room.

She fed her crush and when they were done nobody said a word.

But Norman used the chance and kissed Emma. He didn't want to feel that sick again. And for his surprise, Emma kissed him back.

When Ray appeared at the door. "Oh, did I interrupt something?"

I feel like this is too short but I hope ya'll enjoyed this chapter.
