[3] Sugawara x fem! reader

You ran to the gym. You did not want to be late. Not on your first day as manager at the Karasuno. You loved volleyball. It was your favourite sport, but you just liked to watch it. Playing volleyball is a while new league.

You ran as fast as you could and opened the door of the gym. But before you could apologise for being late, a volleyball hit your head.

It was so fast that you fell to the ground. Immediately, someone ran to you.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry I hit the volleyball too hard." You could regonise the voice as a boys one. It was soft and a bit calming. You forced yourself to open your eyes, and in front of you was a grey haired boy. He seemed very worried.

"I'm fine. Thank you, uh..." You didn't know the name of the good-looking guy who hit you with the ball.

"I'm Sugawara Koshi." He smiled, which gave you some butterflies.

"Nice to meet you, Sugawara." You smiled at him too. He helped you stand up.

"You are the new manager, right?" He asked.

"Yes, I am." You answered.

A black haired girl walked to you and said: "I'm Shimizu Kiyoko, the current manager. It's a pleasure to meet you. You are in the first grade, right?"

"Hello, Shimizu-San, it's a pleasure to meet you too. I'm l/n y/n. You are right. I'm in the first grade." The manager in front of you seemed to be taking her job very seriously.

She looked up from her list. "You should go and get something to cool your head. Just come back, after that."

"I'll go with you!" Came from Sugawara. "I'm the reason why you have to go, so I go with you."

Shimiza sighed. "I guess you can go, but hurry up. You have to be here when the new members come."

"Alright! Come l/n-san." He walked with you through the school. Sugawara seemed exactly to know where he was going while you got really confused. There were so many floors and doors you two passed by. Until he stopped in front of a door which said: 'school nurse'

Sugawara knocked, and you heard a "yes?" He opened the door and asked for something to cool your head. The lady gave you something and said that you should be more careful the next time.

On the way back to the gym, you asked Sugawara: "So in which grade are you?"

"I'm in the third grade. I will leave this school soon, but it's the best I have ever been to."

"That's great to hear." You said.

You two arrived at the gym, and Sugawara opened the door: "My lady."

You blushed a bit. "Thank you, Sugawara-san."

"No need to thank me."

"Finally, you two are here." Shimizu said while running to you. "I was a little worried since every member had already arrived."

"Okay, I will go to them." Sugawara went to them.

"I will explain the whole manager thing to you now." Shimizu said.

After the training, Sugawara went to you before leaving. "I'm still sorry about the volleyball incident. Can I maybe take you out for a cafe or something?" He asked while blushing a bit.

"Yeah, sure, when do you want to meet?"

"I can just give you my number, so we can write to each other." He said while handing you a piece of paper with his number on it.

"Okay, I guess I will write to you later then." Sugawara smiled bright at you and said a quick goodbye.

You walked over the street to the cafe Sugawara wanted to meet. You have never noticed it before, but you were sure that you had already walked past it. You were ten minutes early and already annoyed because waiting is one of the things you just don't like.

But when you entered the cafe, Sugawara already sat at a table. He waved to you. "Hello l/n-san."

"Hello, Sugawara-san. You are early. Since when are you here?"

"I was actually 30 minutes early. So I already sat down." He nervously scratches his neck. "I have not ordered anything yet, but the cake over there looks great." You could see sparks in his eyes.

"I'm sure it tastes great."

After you two ate, Sugawara paid. Sugawara, and you made a little walk, and he brought you home.

"Thank you for this... uh" You didn't know what to say.

"Maybe we could see this as a date?" Sugawara said, trying to end your sentence.

You hugged him and said: "Goodbye."

He still stood there blushing about what happened.
