As the days passed, Stanley and Zero's relationship continued to grow. They spent every moment they could together, sharing their hopes, dreams, and fears.

Zero, who had never experienced affection before, found himself slowly opening up to Stanley. He felt safe around him, and he appreciated the way Stanley never judged him for his past.

Stanley, on the other hand, found himself falling in love with Zero more and more each day. He loved the way Zero made him laugh, the way he always supported him, and the warmth of his touch.

One day, as they were taking a break from their odd jobs, Stanley suggested they take a walk by the river. Zero agreed, and they made their way to the water's edge. They sat down on the riverbank, watching as the water flowed by.

Stanley took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he was about to say. "Zero, I know we've only been dating for a little while, but...I want you to know that I love you."

Zero's eyes widened in surprise, and he looked down at his lap. "I...I don't know what to say, Stanley."

"It's okay," Stanley said gently. "I don't expect you to feel the same way yet. I just wanted you to know how I feel."

Zero looked up, and Stanley could see the emotion shining in his eyes. "Stanley, I think...I think I might love you too."

Stanley's heart soared, and he leaned in to kiss Zero. It was a passionate kiss, full of love and desire.

As they pulled away, Stanley caressed Zero's cheek. "I promise to always be here for you, Zero. No matter what happens."

Zero leaned into his touch, feeling a sense of comfort and safety.

Together, they stayed by the river, basking in the warmth of each other's company.

As they walked back to their motel room that night, Stanley felt a sense of elation. He knew that they had a long road ahead of them, but he was willing to face whatever challenges came their way. As long as they had each other, they could overcome anything.

Zero, too, felt a sense of peace settling over him. For the first time in his life, he felt like he had found a place where he belonged. With Stanley by his side, he could finally start to heal from the wounds of his past.

Their love story had only just begun, but they both knew that it would be a beautiful future.
