Stanley and Zero's relationship continued to deepen, and they spent every possible moment with each other, exploring the town and enjoying each other's company.
One evening, they were lying in bed together, wrapped in each other's arms, after a long day of work. Stanley had been kissing Zero's neck gently, causing goosebumps to appear on his skin.
"Stanley?" Zero murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Hmm?" Stanley responded, continuing to kiss and nuzzle at Zero's neck.
"I'm not sure I like this whole neck kissing thing," Zero said, feeling self-conscious.
Stanley pulled away, his eyebrows raised in surprise. "Why not? I thought you liked it."
"I do," Zero replied hesitantly. "But what if...what if someone sees it?"
Stanley chuckled. "I think you overestimate how observant people are around here."
Still, Zero couldn't shake the feeling of unease. He didn't want anyone to know about their relationship, not yet.
But the next morning, as Zero was getting dressed, he noticed a mark on his neck. A hickey.
He was mortified, wondering how he would explain it to anyone who asked. But as he looked at the mark in the mirror, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. This mark was a symbol of their love, a visible reminder of the passion they shared.
As he made his way to work that day, he couldn't help but feel like everyone was staring at him. He tried to keep his head down, but he could feel the eyes of his coworkers on him.
At lunch, one of his coworkers approached him, a sly grin on his face. "Hey, Zero. Nice hickey. Who's the lucky girl?"
Zero flushed, feeling embarrassed. "No one," he mumbled.
But deep down, he knew that Stanley was the lucky one. He had found the love of his life in Stanley, and nothing else mattered.
When he arrived back at the motel room that evening, Stanley was waiting for him. Zero didn't hesitate, walking straight up to him and kissing him deeply. Stanley responded eagerly, pulling Zero close.
As they pulled apart, Stanley noticed the mark on Zero's neck. "Hey, what's this?"
Zero blushed, feeling his cheeks grow hot. "It's from yesterday. I got it from you. "
