Season 5, episode 17

While Marinette was explaining her concept to the people here on the Eiffel Tower, she was abruptly cut.

"Dupain-Cheng! Give me my phone back!" Chloe screamed pointing her perfectly painted finger towards Marinette.

"My darling Chloe, do you want me to buy you a new phone?" Andre said trying to diffuse the situation. Was it the best way? Clearly not.

"No! I want my phone! The one that is in this girl's bag!" Chloe says stomping on the ground like a child.

"Don't you dare accuse my daughter!" Tom step between Marinette and Chloe.

Marinette saw Chloe making a bee line towards her bag. Marinette ran to take a hold of her bag before Chloe could put her dirty paws on it. Her heart is pounding. What did Chloe wants now. Check her bag to humiliate her? Just like that time where Lila made the principal look in her locker.

"It's private!" Whispered screamed Marinette.

"She wouldn't stop me from looking if she had nothing to hide... super suspicious" said Chloe her hands cross over her chest.

"What are you doing, Chloe ? Quit it" Adrien tried to help Marinette.

Marinette took a step back. What could she do? She was stuck, on top of the Eiffel Tower, with too much people. Tikki was in her bag! What did Chloe could have put in her bag!?!? She had it close to her the whole time. She didn't see Chloe touch it in anyway. Sweat was dripping down her forehead. Think Marinette, think! She looked around while Adrien was arguing with Chloe. She was walking backwards till she touche the metals remparts. She looked down. If she jumped? She could transform midway and hide. Maybe people wouldn't see her disappear...

"Where do you think you are going?" Screamed Chloe.

Marinette's head turn around looking at Chloe coming towards her. Not today Satan. She made eye contact with Adrien before Alya. She smirked before throwing the bag over the ramparts.

"Hey!" Screamed Chloe.

But before she could finish her word, Marinette was jumping over the ramparts too.

"Marinette!!!" Was the last thing she heard before jumping. Adrien scream.

In the air she was able to call Tikki to transform while catching the bag midair. With her yo-yo she pulled herself in the tower. Rolling a couple of time before finishing her fall lying on the ground. Getting up fast, she looked inside her bag. What's all that junk. A couple of flowers, something from her parents bakery and of course Chloe's phone. How all of that happened to be there? It's all objects she got inspired to make her dress. She wouldn't have stolen them. They inspire her. She never copy something. Oh well. Better move fast. This is probably the result of an akumatization. She hid the bag before going back where everyone was. Looking from above she could see everything that was happening. Her parents crying on the ground. Adrien shaking while Alya was trying to reassure him. But then Alya turned her head towards her. Marinette, or well Ladybug, waved her hand at her before making the sign of a butterfly. Alya looked at her with an expression that could say "did you see what you done" or "I'm going to beat you up once this is all over". Not that Alya would ever hit her. Marinette made binoculars with her hand and Alya nodded her head. How they could understand one an other this easily will always be a mystery. Alya looked around before pointing something. Some of the flowers Marinette 'apparently stole' were stuck in the air. Marinette did her job, like always, and Sabrina was back to normal.

"Ladybug, Ladybug! My daughter! She jumped over the ramparts! Did you saw her?" Her mother came crying.

"Marinette? Yes she basically jumped in my arm! Thank god I was there at that time! She's downstairs. I didn't want her mixed with the akuma." Fake laughed Ladybug while scratching the back of her neck.

"I'm gonna go bring her back..." she said fast while moving away. She didn't look at anyone else except Alya. She did her little smirk, then ran away.

She detransformed, gave Tikki a cookie and took a look inside her bag. She wanted to make sure the things were long gone. She walked up to everyone else.

"Marinette!" Screamed her parents seeing her. They hugged her so tight she stopped breathing. When they released her they started talking so fast she couldn't understand half of what they were saying.

"I saw Ladybug." She said pointing towards the ramparts.

"That is not an excuse to jump off the Eiffel Tower!" Says her mom.

"I'm sorry." She looked down.

She then turned towards Alya. She didn't looked impressed at all.

"You're crazy. Adrien almost had an heart attack because of you." She said smirking.

"I had to get out. And the only way was down."

"Marinette" Adrien came tears flowing down his cheeks. She didn't had time to react before she was pulled in an big hug. She could hear Chloe screaming in the back ground.

Well maybe this wasn't such a bad idea in the end.
