Something was wrong and she didn't know exactly what it was.

And that bothered her.

It was Boruto.

Lately Boruto had been ignoring her and she wasn't exaggerating.

Everywhere she went he ran away, if she tried to talk to him he ignored her and ran away again, Training? He only trained with Mitsuki before she arrived and when she did, he was already gone, at family dinners he always used to sit next to her but now he sat far away and on missions he hardly spoke to her anymore unless it was really necessary.

Had she done something wrong?

If so, he couldn't remember.

She thought hard about the last few times she had spoken to Boruto and found no time when she could have made him angry.

He sighed for the umpteenth time that day and continued walking through the streets of the village not knowing what else to do to find out why Boruto was behaving the way he did.

He continued on his way until he arrived outside the hamburger restaurant and saw inside Boruto's friends sitting at one of the tables.

Bingo.

The girl entered the place and stood in front of the boys' table catching their attention.

-Oh, Sarada, hi, how have you been?- Inojin greeted her.

-I've certainly been better- commented the Uchiha without much humor.

-Aaah, I don't know if I should ask but... Did something bad happen?- asked Denki earning an annoyed look from the other boys.

-Well now that you ask Denki, yes, yes something has happened and maybe you guys know a little bit about it- her voice became more serious causing a shiver in all the guys- you see.... Boruto has been avoiding me like the plague, is it possible that you guys know why?-

-Boruto hasn't been avoiding you- Iwabe hastened to say.

-Ah, so just because he doesn't want to talk to me and runs away from me every time he sees me, doesn't mean he's been avoiding me- the irony came out of Sarada's voice.

The boys didn't know what exactly to say until Inojin intervened.

-Don't you think you're overreacting?- Inojin let out a small chuckle that irritated Sarada.

-No!- his palms hit the restaurant table over jumping everyone- I'm not exaggerating anything! It's the truth! Or haven't you guys noticed?-

-Mmm.. no-

-Not at all-

-I haven't noticed anything at all-

-Exactly, it's just Boruto being Boruto- smiled Mitsuki with her rare creepy smile.

The Uchiha sighed....

They all denied it, again.

Whenever she brought up Boruto's strange behavior everyone either denied it or changed the subject.

-You guys don't help...- she sighed tiredly.

-What do you expect? We haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary-

-Oh, really?-

-Of course." Denki laughed nervously making Sarada look at him suspiciously.

-They're lying-

-Of course not. Why would we do that?- Iwabe was a lousy liar.

-But look at the time!- Inojin quickly interjected.
