VIII: Feeling Better? (Part 3 to Ch VI)

       Cole woke up to look at Kai behind him. He was still asleep, but Kai shortly woke up after. "Oh! Sorry Kai, did I wake you up?" Asked Cole, worried. Kai yawned. "No, don't worry Cole," he smiled. "At least he looks better," Cole thought.
       "Are you feeling well?" Cole asked. "Better than the last 4 days," he grumbled. "Let's take you to Wu; he said to go to him once you wake up," Cole reminded himself.
       Kai tried standing up, but failed miserably, so Cole had to help him. Once they were in front of Sensei Wu's room, Cole knocked. "Sensei Wu? Kai's awake," he said. "Come in," Wu replied. They shortly entered the room.
       "Kai, I came to speak to you about your fever," Wu said. "Uhhh, ok?" Kai looked at Cole, then Wu, then sat in front of him. Cole followed.
       "You see, you caught the Arbore fever, a fever that puts your temperature in extreme heat. Luckily, you are the elemental Master of Fire, so you were able to withstand the fever. If you were not, you probably would have died," Wu explained. "Please be careful next time." Kai looked concerned for his well being, while Cole looked extremely worried.
       "I was able to cure you, but you will experience after effects, like feeling exhausted all the time, minor headaches, and feeling warmer than usual. You are dismissed," Wu mentioned. Kai and Cole bowed, then left.
       "You wanna eat breakfast with the others? Or should I take it to your room," asked Cole. "Uhh, I'll be there, I'll just change into something else; I'm already feeling warm," Kai said. They departed, then reunited again at the kitchen.
       The ninja were surprised at Kai's clothes. He was wearing an oversized red shirt that fell right below one of his shoulders, and the bottom covered his waist down to a quarter of his thighs. He had no pants.
       Cole blushed at the sight. Kai looked really cute, especially his usually gelled hair, to a mess, but neat, on his head. "Wow Kai... I never thought you would dress like... that," Lloyd muttered in shock. Kai rolled his eyes.
       "Look, I'm feeling warm, ok? Now f*** off, and don't mind me," he said yawning. Everyone chuckled. At least now they know he's himself .
