Phoebe let out a small groan as her eyes opened, the brightness of the room making her squint as she tried her best to adjust her eyesight.
"Phoebe?" She heard someone say as Phoebe turned her head to look at the person who had been sitting in the chair beside her.
"Chad..?" Phoebe whispered out in almost disbelief as tears glossed over her eyes, Chad stood up from his sitting position as he leaned down to press a kiss onto the girls head.
"Yeah it's me baby." Chad sent Phoebe a small smile as a tear drop rolled down his cheek, only for it to get wiped away by Phoebe's thumb as she brought up her hand to place it on his cheek.
"Are you okay? How are you feeling?" He asked as he slowly sat back down in his chair, bringing it closer to Phoebe's bedside.
"I'm fine...just sore." Phoebe responded with a raspy voice making Chad sit up quickly before reaching into his bad and bringing out a water bottle.
"Drink." He demanded as he opened the bottle for her and handed it to her, getting out of his chair once more to help her carefully sit up without ripping her stitches.
Phoebe brought the bottle to her lips and took a huge gulp, feeling a sense of relief as the water slipped down her throat, making it feel less scratchy.
"Are you okay?" Phoebe asked Chad as she took the bottle away from her lips, Chad nodded "yeah I got discharged 2 days ago...been here waiting for you to wake up." Chad said as he moved his hand up to move her bangs out of her face.
"What happened to the..." Phoebe started to say but slowed down as Chad raised his eyebrows "the killers?" Chad asked making Phoebe nod.
"They're both dead...as well as Liv.."Chad slowly said as he watched Phoebe look up at the ceiling, trying not to cry.
"W-ho- who were the killers?" Phoebe said as she cleared her throat, trying to swallow the sob that wanted to escape.
Chad looked down at his shoes for a moment before raising his head back up "Amber and Richie.." He said making her eyes widen "wow.." Phoebe scoffed as she rolled her eyes.
"How's everyone else?" Phoebe asked as Chad reached up to grab onto her hand, playing with her fingers as he leaned into the bed.
"Everyone else is okay, upset and slightly traumatized but okay."
Phoebe nodded, her head turning when she heard the door to her hospital room opening, Mindy and Miss Meeks walked in.
"You're alive!"
It had been a few weeks since Phoebe had woken up, now discharged and staying at Chad and Mindys for a bit knowing that her mother couldn't help her around, Miss Meeks had decided to take her in until she had gotten better.
Now almost fully healed and ready to get back on her feet and finish her last few weeks of her senior year and ready to start her life.
Graduation came and went and now Chad, Phoebe, Mindy, and Tara where going to attend Blackmore University in New York City.
And after both her and her boyfriend's almost death experience, Phoebe had officially decided that she was ready to let Chad know her dark secrets.
She thought that Chad was going to look at her differently but he did the exact opposite.
He loved her that night, taking away all her pain and replacing it with love, their love.
