"Why are you leaving? Don't leave me, big bro! I don't want to be alone." A child whined and cried as they watched their brother leave. The same figures as last time. "I have to prove myself! If I don't then...why am I here? And don't call me brother! We aren't related. Leave me alone!" The boy shouted back as he left, leaving the younger sibling who was crying. You tried reaching for the kid, wanting to comfort them but your hand passed right through. You looked over in the direction the other kid left running to get him back. You spotted him walking down the steps. You reached your hand out to him trying to grab his shoulder.

*BANG BANG BANG* "Evil does not sleep and neither should you!" Master Wu shouted. 'For fucks sake!' You hated waking up early. Especially when you were in the middle of your dream. Everyone else started whining and moaning at the fact Sensei Wu was waking them up so early. "In order to reach your full potential we must treat each day as an opportunity." You rolled your eyes at that. How are you going to reach your full potential when you don't even know if you have elemental powers or what they may be if you do?

Kai got up, visible irritation in his voice as he spoke. "Okay okay. We're up, but if you want us to reach our full potential shouldn't we get at least a full night of rest?" he yawned attempting to open the blinds as they fell making you frown. "This place really needs upgrades." You mumbled. Cole chimed in as he got up, stretching his back. He was sore from the fact the beds were uncomfortable. "Ugh. You call that rest? I think my back has more lumps than the mattress."

You watched your brother walk towards the sink in the room as he stretched. "We were up so late talking about how cool it was to have a new headquarters. I guess we lost track of time." He attempted to open the faucet, but nothing came out except dust. You tried to warn Jay but he was still speaking to Sensei. "And since the serpentine burnt down the monastery I'm just glad we have a roof over our heads- blah hah." He spat out. You scrunched your face in disgust. Poor Jay.

Zane would make ninja poses "What is our lesson for today Sensei? Mastering the strike of the scorpion? Or perhaps the grea- woooah!" The wooden floor broke underneath him. You went over to help him get out with everyone else. "I think today's lesson will be... chores." Sensei Wu spoke. Everyone except you was shocked to hear they had to do chores to the point where they all synchronised their response. "Chores?"

You sighed. "Ninja fight Sensei. They do not clean." Cole protested. "In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from. And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters. I expect things to be spotless when I return." Sensei Wu proceeded to leave. "And put your backs into it." "Sensei wait. Do we clean everything everything?" You were making sure. "Yes. Now. Chop chop!" He left.

Kai groaned. "Ugh this place is going to take forever to clean and fix up." "Keep moaning and it's going to take longer. I'm going off to clean." You helped Zane up with Cole and went off to get cleaning supplies to aid you. You started dusting off some shelves, cleaning windows as you hear everyone shout "Ninja go!". 'Oh fuck you all that's cheating! I don't even know spinjitsu yet.' You frowned as you kept cleaning. You went in Sensei's room where Cole and Kai were cleaning. You went to clean the bedside table that was filled with dust and filth. You lifted up some pictures that were faced downwards. Your face in shock. "What the fuck?!" You shouted. Kai and Cole turned to your direction. The memories from before now had a face.
