Lila: [smiling] Hey, guys! Mind if I join you?
Rose : [nervously] Um, sure, Lila. Have a seat.
Lila: [sits down] So, I was just telling everyone about my amazing trip to New York over the summer. It was so much fun!
Alya: [excitedly] That sounds awesome, Lila! Tell us more!
Lila: [smirks] Well, actually, I met this famous fashion designer while I was there. He offered me an internship at his studio, but I had to turn it down because I wanted to come back and be with my friends.
Adrien: [impressed] Wow, Lila! That's amazing!
Marinette: [skeptical] Really? That sounds too good to be true.
Lila: [frowns] What do you mean, Marinette?
Marinette: [hesitantly] I mean, it just seems like you're always telling these incredible stories, but I'm not sure if I believe them.
Lila: [defensive] Excuse me? Are you calling me a liar, Marinette?
Marinette: [trying to backpedal] No, I just-
Lila: [starts crying]
[The other students at the table start to murmur in agreement with Lila.]
Alya: [supporting Lila] Yeah, Marinette. Why can't you just be happy for Lila and her accomplishments?
Adrien: [nodding] Marinette, I think you're being a little harsh. Lila's just trying to share her experiences with us.
[Scene opens in Marinette's school, where Marinette is sitting alone in a corner, looking sad and hurt. Lila walks up to her.]
Lila: Well, well, well. Look who's all alone. No friends to play with today, Marinette?
Marinette: [looks up at Lila, her eyes brimming with tears] Leave me alone, Lila. I don't want to talk to you.
Lila: [smirks] Oh, come on, Marinette. Don't be like that. We both know you're just upset because I've been getting all the attention lately. But don't worry, I'm sure you'll find some other way to get people to like you. Maybe you can start by being more like me.
Marinette: [stands up, her fists clenched] That's it, Lila! I've had enough of your lies and your manipulations! You think you can just waltz in here and take over my life? Well, think again!
