"Why... why are you with me?"

~[Name]'s POV~

As soon as I heard those words, I froze. "What?" I asked. "Why are you with me? There are so many other people you could be with." Ali looked around at everyone else.

I sigh and I hug Ali.

"I'm with you because I love you." I say. But I could tell that Ali needed more proof. "Why do you love me?" Ali asked once more. "Because your personality is always so comforting and sweet, and how kind you are to people, and how you always try your best to help others and how you always help animals, how creative you can really be-" I felt a sudden embrace... Ali was... hugging me. "You... you love me..." she said.

I smile softly, and I hug her back. "Of course I do, why wouldn't I?" I ask. "Because of how I don't always know how to show affection." Ali whispers into my ear. "I'm sorry, [Name]." She said, i chuckle softly. "What are you apologizing for?" I ask.

"I feel like I'm bothering you, and making you feel like I don't trust you!" She spoke again. "I feel like I have to apologize!" She pulled away from the hug. "You aren't bothering me! I know you trust me!" I say as I cup her cheek, and I rub it softly. Ali smirk softly, and holds my hand in place as she kisses it. "You're so perfect, my love..." She whispers. "So are you." I reply, and I let go of her face, moving my hand down to hers, and our fingers intertwine.

We finished eating, and threw our trash away. "Where do you wanna go next?" I ask. "Wherever is fine!" Ali replied, looking around. I think for a moment, looking down at the tiled floors. "What about target?" I ask, looking at Ali again. "sure!" She said, and we started walking towards target.

After shopping, Ali and I were walking out, and Ali looked at ten forest nearby. "Wanna look around the forest after we bring our stuff home?" She asks, looking back at me. "Sure! I don't see why not!" I smile, and Ali hugs me. "Thank you!" She said, and she quickly pulls away. "Of course!" I replied. "Here, I'll bring our stuff to my house, you can wait here while I do so! Just don't flirt with anyone!" Ali says, clearly half-joking. "I won't!" I joke back. "Alright, I'll be right back!" Ali says as she puts on her helmet. "Bye, I love you!" I shout. "I love you, too!" She replies and she drives away.

After about a half hour, Ali comes back. "I'm back!" She shouts as she gets off of her motorcycle, and starts walking back to me. "Hey! Ready to walk?" I ask. "Mhm!" She nods as we start walking into the forest.

We were about a mile or two in the forest, and the sun is starting to set. "Maybe we should head back... wouldn't wanna be out for to long, would we?" I ask, nervousness in my words as I hear a crunch under me, and I see a dead dear skull on the ground, and I fight the urge to throw up. "Aww! But I love it out here!" Ali whined.

"Can we stay here a bit longer?" Ali begs, looking at me with pleading eyes. I chuckle softly. "Okay, fine..." I smile. "Yay! Best partner ever!" She shouts as she kisses me. I kiss her back, smiling against her lips.

Ali pulls away after what feeling like an hour, even though it was probably only 2 minutes. "Let's go back to exploring!" Ali chuckles as she walks away. "okay!" I say as I follow.

We're 2 more miles deep into the forest, meaning we're four miles in. "Can we go back now?" I ask. "You haven't seen the best part!" Ali says. "It should be around here..." Ali says as she looks around, and peeks into a bush. "Here it is!" Ali points into the bushes, and motions for for me to look into them as well. "Okay..." I look into the bushes, and I see a small baby deer with its mom. "Oh, that's actually kinda... cute..." I mutter, chuckle softly as the baby deer plays with the mother. "I know, right?" Ali says.

"You know, we've been dating for a while now, and I think I trust you enough to tell you something..." Ali trails off as she draws in the dirt. "What's wrong?" I ask, placing a hand onto her shoulder. "You know my real name isn't Ali, right?" She looks over at me. I shake my head. "No, actually... I thought Ali was your actual name?" I ask. "Well... it's not." Ali chuckles.

"Well- what is it then?" I ask, looking back down at the ground. I hear Ali sigh. "My real name is Asher... some people call me Alex, though..." Ali, or Alex says. "Oh... that's fine! I don't mind!" I smile. "I'm glad you don't, but please... don't tell anyone..." Alex whispers. "Why would I?" I ask.

Alex shrugs. "Some people tell people my name is Asher, and people think I'm a liar for saying my name is Ali..." I hear Alex sniffle. "it's okay, I won't tell anyone!" I assure her. Alex looks over at me, her eyes extremely teary. "Good..." she whispers, and kisses my cheek.

"But I'll have to make sure you won't tell anyone..." I hear her whisper into my ear. "Huh?" I ask my eyes widen, and it goes dark.
