Strange Love (Ali(OC) X Reader)

(NOT TECHNICALLY A CHAPTER) New Years Special!

~third POV~

Ali was cooking breakfast, since [Name] was unavailable and was at work. Ali had decided to surprise [Name] since it was New Years Eve. Ali had the best idea yet! She was gonna ask [Name] to marry her! Ali had the perfect idea in mind. She got matching [Your Favorite Color] rings for [Name] and her.

Al had everything planned out, after she lit the last firework, she would wait until it was about to go off and go in front of [Name] with the ring, her back facing them. Then Ali would turn around and ask '[Name] [Last Name], will you marry me under the full moon?' Then, since [Name] had been dating them for so long, they must say yes... right?

[Name] had gotten home and it was 11:38, a few hours until new years. Ali had told them that she needed their help so [Name] was heading into the house and heard someone shout. "[Name]! Over here!" [Name] looked back and saw Ali waving.

"Ali? I-I thought you would be inside? It's so cold!" [Name] joked. "I guess you were wrong!" Ali laughed.

They were talking for a little while until a phone Alarm went off. "Ah! It's time for fireworks!" Ali smiled and ran over to the fireworks set out in front of the house that Ali and [Name] both lived in. Al grabbed a lighter and lit the fireworks. A few of them were small, but they started escalating and getting bigger. But the last one was the next one and as it was in the sky, about to go off. Ali turned around and gave [Name] the ring.

"[Name] [Last Name], will you marry me under the full moon?"

Ali asked as the last firework exploded and the sky lit red and [favorite Color] (non dark so it would glow) over both of their faces.

"Ali..."

"Yes."
