I came outside the female staffroom and knocked at the door.
"How may I help u?", Ms. Jina came out and asked.
"Maam is Ms. Shin here?", I asked as I sniffed my nose.
"Yes, wait a minute.", she said and went inside. After a minute Ms. Shin came out.
"Yes Y/n dear, u called me.", she politely asked me.
"Maam I won't sing with Jungkook.", I said as tears filled my eyes.
"Why sweetie is everything alright?"
"Yes ma'am, it's just that I don't want to sing with him."
"U were really happy when u got selected and now u r saying this. Did anything happen? Did Jungkook say u something?"
"No ma'am....", I was saying but I started crying.
"Y/n dear don't cry tell me what happened?", she asked me while wiping my tears.
"Maam Jungkook doesn't like it that I should sing with him.", I said.
"Aish this kid, Y/n u will sing no matter what happens and whosoever dislikes it. Go call Jungkook here."
"But ma'am..."
"Go Y/n call him.", she said and I went to call him.

Jungkook's POV:

I was sitting with Ni-Yeon when Y/n came. Ugh, when will I get rid of this blob?
"Jungkook Ms. Shin is calling u.", she said.
Her eyes were really red as if she cried. Ugh, I don't even care.
"Yeah coming.", I said and left with her.

We went to Ms.Shin.
"Jungkook I have heard u r having a problem singing with Y/n?", Ms. Shin asked angrily.
"Uhhh ma'am actually....", I was saying but she smiled and said,
"It's okie dear if u don't want to sing with her then don't.".
This kinda surprised me, I mean I thought she would scold me but she didn't. Y/n's face was kinda shocked.
"What ma'am?", she said.
"Yes Y/n dear, Jungkook doesn't want to sing then he shouldn't be forced to perform.", Ms. Shin said which shook me.
"WHAT!", we both said to Ms. Shin.
"Yes Jungkook, Y/n will perform no matter what. Now it's ur choice if u wanna perform and don't wanna miss this chance then u have to sing with Y/n otherwise I have other boys as well whose voices are better than yours. So the decision is yours. Will you sing with Y/n?", Ms. Shin said.
WTF this Y/n is getting on my nerves. I can't miss this chance.
"Okie ma'am I will sing with her.", I said forcefully smiling.
"Good, then tomorrow u both have to come to school by preparing a song. Now u both can leave.", she said and went inside.

I held Y/n's hand and dragged her to the art room.
"Jungkook leave me, it hurts.", she said.
I closed the door. I was really angry.
"Can u just tell me what the fu*k is ur problem Y/n?"
"What..what do u mean?"
"Don't play innocent around me. Do u like teasing me?"
"Jungkook no, I..."
"Please I'm begging u to stay away from me. I don't like ur presence around me."
"Why do u hate me that much?", she asked me while slightly raising her voice.
"I...", why do I hate her?
"Tell me what wrong have I done to u or anyone else that u all hate me? Just becoz Ni-Yeon doesn't like me doesn't mean u should also hate me. Answer me what bad have I done to u?"
I didn't know what to say.
"Yes u haven't done anything bad to me but still I don't like u. U can't force anyone to like u. I don't want u as my friend as well."
"WHY?"
"Becoz I hate u!", I shouted to which she went silent.
"Okie I'm sorry, I won't bother u again. Just let this competition get over and I won't come near u ever again.", she said and left the room.
Aish wtf have I done, fine I don't like her but I shouldn't have said such harsh words to her.

At hometime:

"Bye bye Kookie.", Ni-Yeon said and kissed me on the cheek, and left. I turned around and saw Y/n, Jimin, and Taehyung coming from behind. Y/n must have told everything to hyungs. Now they won't talk to me.
"Hey Jungkookahh", Jimin hyung came running towards me and smiled.
"Sup kookie", Taehyung hyung said and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
Wait why are they being good to me? Haven't Y/n told them about what I said to her?
"Yes hyungs", I said while smiling back.
"What will u and Y/n sing tomorrow?", they asked excitedly.
"Ahh..idk...Y/n what do u say?", I asked Y/n.
"Idk tell me, I will prepare it.", she said coldly and started scrolling through her phone.
"Ahh I say we should sing 'We don't talk anymore', what do u say?", I asked politely.
"Okie I will prepare it today.", she was kinda rude.
"Okie Jiminaah, okie Taehyungaaah, meet u both tomorrow. Take care byeeeeeee!", she hugged hyungs and ran towards the exit.
"Hey Kookie, did anything happen between u guys? Why was her tone as if she is avoiding u?", Jimin hyung asked.
"Yes hyung, just that Ni-Yeon had a fight with Y/n. Tbh I'm sick of these girls' fights and problems.", I said while lying.
"Aish I'm sorry I know Ni-Yeon is ur girlfriend but plz keep her away from Y/n. Y/n is a really nice girl. Idk why Ni-Yeon is always after her.", Taehyung hyung said.
"Yeah, I got it hyung dont worry. I will talk to her."
"Okie then meet u tomorrow. Bye!", they both said and hugged me and left.
Y/n is mad at me but on second thought it's kind of good, at least I got rid of her. All is well when the end is well.
I smiled and went towards my home.
