Something Different!

Y/n's POV:

I was sitting with Ae Cha as she showed me her toys.
"Unnie see this doll, appa bought it for me.", she said showing her adorable smile. I am just so happy she liked whatsoever I bought for her.
"This is so pretty.", I said.
"Hahaha but u are prettier unnie.", she said making me giggle so I squished her cheeks and said,
"And you are the prettiest.", and she laughed.
Then my eyes landed on a picture on the wall.
"She is my eomma...", Ae Cha said,.."Appa wanted to throw this picture but I said him not becoz I want to remember my eomma.", she said to which I felt bad. But I feel I have seen this woman somewhere. As I was thinking Han Sung called us.

I picked Ae Cha and we headed towards the dining table.
"I'm sorry this food isn't according to ur standard...", he was saying as he looked down while scratching his nape but I interrupted him,
"If you say anything like this again I swear I will leave."
"Oh no no I'm sorry I didn't mean to...."
"Do you know me?"
"W-What do you mean?"
"Do you know who Choi Itzy is, her debut, her achievements, her story?"
"N-No I..."
"Then treat me like a normal person, please it's a request.", I said to which he smiled and said,
"Okay.", Gosh his smile is so beautiful.

Han Sung's POV:

We all sat at the table and I served her, I could see her staring at me with a smile that made my heart beat faster.
"Please start it.", I said as I took my seat.
"Unnie, appa makes the best food.", Ae Cha said as she already stuffed pasta and meatballs in her mouth. We both laughed and Y/n wiped her mouth.
"Well let's see, how good ur appa makes food.", Y/n said and took a mouthful and her reaction was so cute.
"OMG THIS IS THE BEST FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN!", she said with a stuffed mouth.
"Hahahaha Y/n you got sauce all over your lips.", I said as I saw her. She wiped it but still, some was left so I bent forward and wiped it with a tissue myself but this made her blush.
"S-Sorry!", I said as I sat back.
"Oh no, it's okay.", she said as she moved a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"This is really good food Han Sung!", she said as she started eating. We all finished our meals and then I brought the dessert.
"Ahh we have dessert as well!", Y/n exclaimed as she clapped her hands.
"Yes, fudge brownie. Taste it and tell me how is it?", I said. She took a bite and laid her head on the back of the chair while closing her eyes,
"Is this from heaven?", she asked.
I sat on my seat and put my hands under my chin.
"I am in love with ur cooking!", she said making me giggle.
"Well I'm happy u liked the food.", I said and finished my plate as well. After that, I picked Ae Cha up and took her to the kitchen to wash her mouth. From behind I saw Y/n bringing dishes inside the kitchen.
"Oh no what are you doing, dont do this. This is my work.", I said to her.
"It's okay, I like helping you.", she said but I insisted,
"No it's against ethics to make guests work.", I said and make her move back. She didn't say anything except standing there and smiling. Her smile is making my heart race.
"I will make her sit in the lounge!", I said to Y/n and took Ae Cha, and made her sit on the sofa.

Then I took the dishes inside the kitchen where she was looking at the pictures on the wall of me and Ae Cha.
"She was just 2 in this.", I said as I placed the dishes in the sink.
"She is a really cute girl. Han Sung if you dont mind may I ask something?", she said.
"Yes sure Y/n.", I said as I rolled my sleeves up to wash the dishes.
"Where is Ae Cha's mother?", she asked which made my heart stop for a minute.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked that question.", she said as she bowed.
"Oh no no, please dont do that. It's okay.", I said as it wasn't looking nice that she was bowing to me. She started looking at the pictures again when I spoke,
"Her name was Eun Jung, I met her when I was 22 and she was just 18 years old. I was basically her tutor. She was really cute and adorable. She wasn't good at studies but I thought her heart was pure, haha, I was an idiot. After high school got finished we both became friends and used to hang out alot. I started to develop feelings for her. One day I decided that I will confess to her, so I called her to my house becoz I was really nervous. My house is the only place where my heart is at ease. I still remember she wore a white mini dress with black laced flowers on it. We had dinner and I confessed my feelings to her after that. To my surprise she also loved me and we both got together. She started to live with me. She left her parents becoz they were making her marry someone she didn't like. Days passed on and my love for her increased. I dont know what happened when one day she asked me to make this relationship stronger than before, I didn't understand it at first but later realized what she meant. We both made love and after a week I got the news she was pregnant. We both were happy as we were now starting our family. In her 3rd month with Ae Cha, we both married. I couldn't tell how happy I was to marry my first love. After Ae Cha's birth, we both decided that we will move here. Everything was going fine but suddenly things started to change. When Ae Cha was 2 years old, Eun Jung stopped focusing on her, her interests changed, and she didn't pay attention to me or Ae Cha. I thought maybe I am not fulfilling her requirements that's why she is getting distant but I was wrong becoz she had an affair going on. I tried to earn as much as possible for my family to give them a better life but in the end, it was all useless. Becoz she was already done with me and our daughter. 2 years ago she ran with her boyfriend and took all the wealth that I had earned all those years for Ae Cha's better future.", I told her all but there were tears flowing down my eyes becoz after such a long time I shared this with someone. Y/n came towards me and patted my back saying,
"You know what Han Sung, you are the best father in this world."
"No Y/n I am not, I can't fulfill even the basic necessities of my daughter, I'm the worst father."
"Ahh don't say such stuff, u r the best and no one can change this fact. U know how hard u are trying for Ae Cha and most importantly u never gave up on that child. I mean u had the choice to leave her and start your own life. U were young and could easily carry your own burden. But you decided to name ur life after your daughter. She is really lucky to have a father like you. U know my father died when I was only 10 years old, but he never used to work that hard for me the way you do."
"You think I can ever give her a good future?"
"Han Sung, I dont think, I know you will do it for her.", she said which brought even more tears to my eyes. She doesn't know me but she believes I can do. I dont know what happened that I just hugged her.
