John was sitting in his first class when he saw her again. She walked into the room and took a seat at the front of the class. He couldn't believe it. She was in his class!
He tried to focus on the lecture, but he kept stealing glances at her. She was taking notes, and he could see the way her hand moved across the paper. He wondered what it would be like to hold her hand.
After class, John gathered his things and started to leave. He saw her walking out of the classroom, and he decided to take a chance.
"Excuse me," he said, catching up to her. "I'm sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to say hello. My name is John."
She smiled at him. "Hi, John. My name is Eunice. It's nice to meet you."
They talked for a few minutes, and John felt like he had known her forever. He didn't want the conversation to end.
