As I stared down at the text, I thought to myself confused for a min. Then I realised.
Dd's been so upset recently, he acts like everything's fine when he's around others, but when he's with me he knows he can be his true self.
I shut my phone off and dry my skin before lathering myself with lavender scented lotion and slipping of a comfy fit.

Not long later I hear three knocks on my front door. I run down the stairs and open the door, to see Dd standing there. His eyes look red and low like he's been crying, I was about to say something before he walks up to me and gives me the tightest hug.
I hug him back tighter for what felt like a while, and I felt something wet slide down my arm. "Awh baby don't cry I'm here" I run my hand up and down his back to comfort him as he sobs.

"And I just feel numb" he explains to me teary eyed. "You know I'm always here for you right?" I spoke softly interlocking our fingers together. "I know ma" he smiles wiping his tears.
"Now let's get some sleep mh you look tired" I say as he nodded, walking over to my bed following while getting inside the covers.
We start to cuddle up in the bed and I play with his curls soothingly. "Mmm" he lets out as a sign of pleasure as I massage his scalp.
I switch the LED lights off and kiss his forehead before saying "goodnight mi amor, I love you". "goodnight bae I love you more" he says turning his head to face me for a kiss.
