“What?! Run away? From what?” Agnise interrupted. Celestia sighed. She looked into Agnise’s eyes to try and communicate her feelings. 

“My husband,” Agnise was in shock. She knew Celestia had a husband but he seemed nice when she met him… Then again, he did have a suspicious vibe… Then again, almost every man she met gave her bad vibes. 

“W-why?” she asked. Celestia sighed again, sitting on Lady Agnise’s bed. 

“He… well, he has been mistreating me, in a way. B-but today he told me I wasn’t allowed to see anyone outside our land. So I came here because I-I just can’t do it anymore!” Celestia started to sniffle. Agnise did not know how to comfort her friend. She was angry at this man. 

“How about you come with me to my land and stay with me? I have a knight who I think is skilled enough to protect it,” Lady Agnise held onto Celestia’s hand. Celestia looked towards Agnise in shock. 

“The noble Lady Agnise has agreed to a knight? How can this be?” She nudged Agnise jokingly. Agnise nudged back as her face tinted with pink color from the touch. 

“He just impressed me, I guess. He didn’t give me a weird feeling when he talked at all,” She smiled thinking of Florian's smile and his tanned face with his brown eyes. Something about him intrigued her and she couldn’t help thinking about him and his grin. 

“Wow, you look smitten,” Celestia replied bluntly. Agnise snapped out of her trance and glared at Celestia. 

“No, not ‘smitten’. I am just impressed by his good manners and honesty,” She crossed her arms as she stood from her bed and turned her back against Celestia. 

“C’mon Agnise! Don’t be so rude, I am your best friend after all. I am happy you found a charming knight!” Celestia’s voice sounded as though it was masking a deeper emotion than what she was letting on. Lady Agnise turned to face Celestia again who had stood up. 

“He is not my suitor though. If that is what you’re implying,” Agnise stated bluntly. Celestia scoffed. The tension was rising and Agnise had to think of a way to defuse this situation. 

“Well, I wasn’t. But who knows? He might become your suitor if you’re going to live with him for years onward,” Celestia snapped back. Clearly, she was angry about something but how would Agnise having a suitor upset Celestia? She had always wondered if Agnise was ever going to get one. 

“Okay! Sorry, I didn’t know you would get this upset over a boy. Just tell me if you are coming with us,” Agnise said. Celestia crossed over to Agnise and spun her to face her.

“I need to come with you. I am all packed with the essentials I need. When do we leave?” Agnise was surprised by her sudden mood change. It was probably for her mentioning running away from her husband. Agnise nodded and Celestia smiled. 

“We leave in 2 hours,” Celestia ran out of the room but quickly came back with two large bags. 

“Great, I’ve got all of my stuff! Now you just need to hide me for the next 2 hours in case my husband comes looking for me,” Celestia said it all very casually but Agnise could not see how this was casual at all. She sighed hard. 

“Okay, let’s take a walk in the garden,” She suggested. Celestia nodded. “But let’s also drop your bags off first,” Celestia picked her bags back up as they walked out of Agnise’s room for probably the last time.
