Her Lover in Armor

George started walking toward Celestia who was frozen in terror on the ground. Agnise had never seen her friend this afraid in her life. Agnise was about to shout at George to stop when Florian grabbed George. Despite all of his armor, Florian made barely any sounds when he moved and he was swift. George was not expecting it and spun around to face Florian.

"I thought I told you to stay out of my business!" George growled. Florian glared.

"This woman is important to Lady Agnise, and it is my duty to protect her and those she loves. Also, mind you, she is a human being and you have no right to be harsh to your wife!" Florian growled right back at George. Agnise was almost scared of how serious Florian was about his duty to her. She was also flattered; and worried. She looked toward Celestia who was only a few feet from George and Florian.

She used Florian distracting George to sneak over to Celestia. She made it to Celestia and grabbed her hand. She looked surprised but realized it was Agnise and followed her lead away from the men. Agnise kept going with determination to get to the cart and leave.

There was a thud and a groan. Agnise whirled around almost forgetting about Florian being her knight and having to come with them.

"AH! My nose! You son of a monkey!" George shouted. Florian stood above him with a deathly calm stare as he still stood in a fighting stance. George was on the ground holding his face.

"Celestia, go to the cart and stay there. I need to get Florian so we can go," Agnise quickly told Celestia as she watched the men. Celestia shook her head which sent a few strands of her rich brown hair into her face from her tight braided bun.

"No, Agnise. You can't. Please, George is very strong and he gets worked up when he is angry!" Celestia grabbed Agnise"s wrist to keep her from going back.

"But we need Florian!" Agnise argued. "He is the knight for my feif and he is fighting George to protect us!" Agnise felt the need to go back and check on Florian. She tried to pull away but Celestia kept a firm grip on her wrist. Agnise was about to open her mouth and demand she let go but paused as she saw tears in Celestia's diamond blue eyes.

"Agnise please, I want you to think about this. If Florian is trying to protect us, we should never away from harm. Besides, if Flroian is a good knight, he will knock down George and we can leave. Let's just call your parents so their guards can take care of this," Celestia's voice was faulty but she used what she could to keep Agnise away from the fight.

Agnise was torn but she decided that Celestia needed to get away from the cruel man the law called her husband. She started leading Celestia to the cart in the front of the manor. Celestia's grip moved to Agnise's hand. They arrived and Agnise helped Celestia into the very wealthy looking cart. Celestia reached her hand out to Agnise to help her up but Agnise hesitated.

"Agnise, please, Florian will come. Just get in," Celestia pleaded. Agnise knew what Florian wanted but the rebel part of her didn't want to take orders from any man anymore after seeing George. Her rational side told her to stay out of the fight, especially because she had just about no experience fighting.

Agnise took Celestia's hand. Celestia pulled Agnise up into the carriage. They both hid with their backs up against the carriage walls. It was cramped in the carriage because the luggage cart couldn't hold all of the items being moved so the rest ended up in the carriage with them.

Celestia took Agnise's hand in her own and squeezed it tight. Agnise squeezed back to assure her she was there for her. Agnise squeezed her eyes shut and focused on her breathing to calm herself down. She needed to stay calm so that they could get away as smoothly as possible when Florian came back from fighting George. If he did come back.
