( Riley POV)
I was driving through the town on my duel runner when I got a call from one of my friends.
Riley: You’ve reached R. Jotun, what do you need?
Crow: Hey Riley you mind dropping by our house we might need some help.
Riley: Sure I’m on my way.
(Timeskip)
I pulled up to Crow’s place and knocked on the door and someone opened it.
Jack: Who are you?
Riley: Riley Jotun, Crow called me.
Crow: Hey Jack let him in!
I walked in and saw an injured sector security guard.
Riley: Crow what did you do?!
Crow: It wasn’t me this time I swear!
Guard:He’s right it was the ghost.
Riley: But the ghost is fake.
Guard: Tell that to my duel runner.
He pointed over and saw a pile of scrap metal.
Riley:How’d he do that?
Guard: This weird monster absorbs Synchro monsters.
Yusei: So me, Crow, and Jack are going to look for him.
Riley: You want my help Crow?
Crow: After you dealt with the remaining dark signers I was hoping you could help hunt him down.
Riley: Sure let's get going.
(Timeskip After Yusei duel)
All of a sudden the Ghost crashed and the duel stopped. Jack and the others showed and when we went to check the ghost I saw something on the duel runner.
Riley: It’s a remote control.
Jack: What does that mean?
Yusei: The Ghost was a robot.
Riley: And by the programming it was designed to wipe its memory when it lost.
Crow: So we risk our lives for nothing?!
Riley: No, I could reverse program it to try to find out who made it.
Yusei: Alright, let’s head back.
Yusei and Jack drove off as Crow looked at me.
Crow: What’s the matter?
Riley: Nothing, the night sky just looks really beautiful in New Domino City.
Crow: Yeah it really does. Well, I know Trudge will be happy to know the Ghost is off the street.
Riley: Yeah.
(The Next Day)
Jack: Hey Riley, come here and meet someone!
Riley: Coming!
I ran down the steps and saw three people, two kids and a redhead.
Yusei: This is Leo, Luna, and Akiza.
Riley: Hello, I'm Ri-.
Leo: Riley Jotun the European National Champion, The Hero Master, the Great Saviour!
Luna: Leo! It’s rude to interrupt people like that. Sorry Mr.Jotun.
Riley: That’s fine I’m used to people already knowing how I am. Anyway it’s a pleasure to meet you.
Akiza: Likewise, I’m Akiza.
Riley: The Black Rose.
AKiza: I prefer not to be called that anymore.
Riley: I’m sorry.
Akiza: Don’t be.
Luna: So Mr. Jotun, why are you here?
Riley: Please call me Riley, and I’m here because Crow said they needed help building an engine.
Jack: So that’s why Crow called ya.
Riley: Yeah I hold the speed record in Denmark.
Leo: So cool, can I have you autograph!
Riley: Sure Leo.
Leo: Thank you!
Yusei: So Riley, any progress on that chip you pulled from the ghost?
Riley: No, it’s really complex, firewall after firewall after code after code.
Jack: Well then me and you should get back to work.
Riley: Yeah, nice to meet you three.
After Leo, Luna, and Akiza left, Jack and I were trying to get through the fire wall.
Jack: Something on your mind Riley?
Riley: Yeah where did the deck go?
Jack: What?
Riley: The Ghost’s deck, that machine emperor it wasn’t on the duel runner.
Jack: Right I wonder who took it?
(??? POV)
???1: The ghost was destroyed.
???2: It was Primo’s idea!
Primo: Well you didn’t object to it Lester!
Lester: Well Jakob did advise against it and you should have listened!
Jakob: SILENCE!
The two mysterious figures stopped bickering and looked at the biggest one named Jakob.
Jakob: That is not of concern now.
