⭐️ch 5⭐️: the trip home

What wrong with me!?
Here's a quick update of my past 24 hours. I woke up to my usual morning routine of soaked bed sheets, getting beaten up, getting yelled at, packing my things, and going off to school. But instead of chores, more violence, and the occasional sexual assault. I was locked outside of the house, waiting for my supposed fathers to pick me up. Then, I was scooped by two fucking giants, and my brain decided to do the obvious thing, and stop fucking working! I then decided today was too much, so I took a fucking nap.
Giants numbers 1 and 2 made the executive decision that it was high and time to leave, so they strapped me into a God damn car seat drove off to who knows where.

It wasn't until about 30 minutes into the drive that I woke up and came to my senses. I decided it was time for me to ask some actual questions. The first of which was, what the hell was going on!?

I decided to ask David my question. If they were actually my long-lost fathers and not just creeps who snatched some random kid off the street, then I didn't want to play favorites so early on.
"Um- Mr. David, Sir, may I ask what's going on here?"
The big men seemed to snap out of their daze, and both of them drew their full attention on me. For a second, both of them seemed a bit shocked, them having one of those Silent conversations before David finally addressed my concerns.

David turned towards me, with Michael doing the same on my other side.
"I see you're unaware of what's going on, and I do apologize for how you're finally learning all of this. But it's clear the best way of telling you is while you're still in an older state of mind."

David took a small pause to think before continuing the info dump.

"To make this simple, me and Michael are werewolves, and that makes you one too. But since the one who was supposed to be raising you to shifting age clearly never told you anything, we have to tell you this now."

"It's law that pup such as your self be raised by humans until they reach the age of l6, where they're ready to have their first shift. The law was in place to keep pups from having an underdeveloped human side, which can be a very dangerous thing when the wolf grows to maturity."

"But the way you were being treated can be very dangerous for your wolf. When a pup gets close to the shifting age, their much younger wolf starts to take over and adjust the pup's body accordingly. But it's not supposed to happen like this. The pre-shift regression is supposed to happen gradually over a 1-2 year time frame. Your human has been fighting your wolf, so you're facing the changes all at once. Do you have anything to say before I continue?"

I sat in stund silence.
WHAT???
This can't be happening. This is nonsense! Why didn't anyone tell me about this? How come i didn't see this coming sooner! Werewolf biology is taught in school, but how come I never saw the signs sooner! Why was I even in normal school? Aren't supernatural kids supposed to have a special daycare or something?
