Hello all, and welcome to my otome-game inspired novel, The Final Route. Ever since I got the Nintendo Switch, I've been obsessively buying and playing the otome games/visual novels on it. And when I tell you, I fell in love with them so much I just had to write a story of my own out of inspiration.
To those of you who enjoy reincarnation, transmigration or isekai genres with fantasy and romance, this story is for you! I'll be focusing much more on the relationships between characters for this novel, and work my way towards a romance that is heartwarming and passionate, but not without its obstacles. Also, the exciting part about this book is that I'll also try to include a few CGs (images) for the otome-game/visual novel feel.
This will hopefully be a pretty immersive story for you all. If you don't know about or haven't played otome games before, that's okay! You can still read this book since it doesn't involve an intricate gaming system or complicated mechanics.
I also wanted to let people know that the male lead in this story isn't the conventional badass-cold-confident type, but I'll leave it as a surprise. I don't believe it's usual to see his type of character (unless I just haven't read enough) but I hope you'll stick around :'D
Note that the story involves a few elements of reverse harem but there is only one male lead. There are also themes - such as references to suicide, violence, sexual innuendos or suggestions, etc - that may require the reader's discretion. All in all, it should be okay for anyone but if you feel uncomfortable with something please skip it. I'll also include a small warning for when certain scenes are coming up.
I edit as I go, but tend to overlook a few mistakes so please let me know kindly in the comments if there are any errors. I would also really appreciate any comments or votes for support, I worked hard on this story some appreciation would be nice :') I usually read all comments and reply to many fun ones so it would be great to see your thoughts as you read!
