I woke up at 3:30 am, I went straight to the restroom took a shower and got ready. At four am exactly Mason and Justin were outside knocking on the door.

(Mason)

—Morning guardian angel—

(Justin)

—Good morning Meredith—

(Meredith)

—Morning guys—

(Mason)

—Let go, we gotta be at the safe house before 4:30—

We rushed to the car, and Mason took off. The ride was silent, and the tension was palpable. We were all thinking about the mission ahead and what could go wrong. We arrived at the safe house with just a few minutes to spare. The door to the safe house was on the ground covered with a lot of leaves.

(Mason)

—Mer you have a video with the instructions in case anything goes wrong, see it and once you are done break it with the hammer that is next to it—

(Meredith)

—All right troublemaker—

(Mason)

—Justin, you cannot contact anyone during the time that you are inside, and you also have a video with instructions on how to act if something goes wrong, see it and break it too—

(Justin)

—All right M—

(Mason)

—Bye Justin, take care guardian angel—

(Justin)

—Bye M—

(Meredith)

—Bye troublemaker—

I went to Mason kissed him on the cheek and hugged him hard.

Once I was inside with Justin I close the door and placed all the locks. I went around looking at everything and analyzing the place. As soon as I was done I went straight to see the video and once I was done I tore it apart with the hammer. Justin did the same with his video.

I was supposed to keep Justin safe for the next week or so, and in case of emergency I have three exit doors through the tunnel that was next to the bathroom. We had to keep the noise to the minimum just in case and we were not allowed to use any electronic except if we are discovered.

I took a deep breath and tried to calm my nerves. This was going to be a long week, but I was determined to keep Justin safe no matter what. We spent the first few hours settling in and going over the plan one more time. As the day went on, the tension slowly began to ease, and we settled into a routine. I would wake up shower, have breakfast, read, play chess with Justin, workout, practice my combat skills with Justin, eat a snack, read some more, do yoga, take another shower and sleep.

The days passed by in a blur, and before we knew it, it was day six. We had fallen into a comfortable routine, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. But that all changed when we heard a noise coming from outside. Justin and I froze, and I motioned for him to stay put as I crept towards the door. I carefully peered through the peephole and saw a shadowy figure lurking outside. My heart pounding in my chest, I knew we were in trouble.
