Child of Hazel and Cha Cha

The End of the World PT 2

You sat in the back of the car trying to contain your energy. 

Hazel was back for now at least but you had so much to say to him but you had to stay silent, you swung your feet off the edge of the car seat looking at the both sitting in the front and then Cha Cha broke the silence 

"alright, i'll be the first to admit things really got out of hand, punches were thrown shots were fired, but i'm willin' to forgive and forget" 

"how very kind of you" you heard Hazel say you hopped up and went in the space in between the two front car seats 

"i missed you two, so much" you said grabbing both of their arms they both smiled at you and continued their chat 

"look the Handler was right, we had a chance to kill each other, we were ordered to kill each other and we didn't that says something right, you're willing to throw away all that goodwill" you looked at Hazel 

"it doesn't matter, the Handler's offer isn't real" "of course it is Hazel" you said looking at Cha Cha 

"verbal agreements are binding. Check the handbook" 

"we've caused way too much trouble, you two notice something's missing, we don't have a briefcase she's leaving us to die" you looked down 

"b-but, they can't get rid of me, right?" you asked and Hazel sighed 

"look, there's Vanya" Cha Cha said and you watched her get on a bus Hazel started the car and you got back in your seat as he drove off following the bus, it had been awhile 

"look, Vanya's getting off" Cha Cha said unbuckling her seat belt 

"this is where you get off" you looked at Hazel confused but then the car started going fast and the start knocked you in the floorboard of the car and Cha Cha was screaming and all of the sudden the car was hit and you hit your head on the seat, why was it always your head?, 

you got up slowly and saw the big hole it the front window and Cha Cha was gone 

"H-hazel w-where's Cha Cha" "let's go y/n" and he backed away 

"wait no, no, no HAZEL where's Cha Cha" you said crying 

"it will all be okay y/n" you sat on the seat in disbelief heartbroken, 

"H-hazel" "yes kiddo" "c-can we make o-one more stop" "yea, where to" he said "the hotel" he sighed but he agreed, you arrived 

"get what you need and hurry we don't have all day" he said and you ran in and grabbed your backpack dumping everything out looking around and grabbed Cha Cha's old dog mask and hugged it crying, and you heard a horn honking you grabbed your pictures and put them in your bag with the mask and grabbed Hazel's and ran out 

"H-hazel why did you do what you did" you said with tear stained cheeks 

"i did what i had to kiddo" he said sounding sad 

"n-no, she was sorry, really sorry" he sighed and drove off 

"Hazel, i want her back" "i'm sorry" he said "no, Hazel please" you said crying with your head bleeding because of all the events that happened, Hazel stayed quiet and you were driving past that spot where he lost Cha Cha and it was a red light, you oped the door and dashed out 

"y/n, NO" you heard him yell and you kept running to find Cha Cha and you went back to the spot seeing her on the ground, you shook her 

"Cha Cha, please wake up" you said sobbing shaking her Hazel walked up to you "y-you're n-not gonna hurt me right" he sighed 

"i would never hurt you y/n" 

"i'm sorry but she's...gone" you looked down at her and back up at Hazel 

"it's gonna be okay, come with me there's no where else for you to go" you slowly got up and hugged Hazel "it'll be okay kiddo i promise" he said as you both walked to the car holding his hand and drove off~
