That Night...

Chapter 9

Val and I announced that we were back together on social media. He posted a picture of us kissing and caption it with, "the rumors are true, we are back and stronger than ever💚."

He was happy that everyone knew now. He could take me out wherever he wants and kiss me in front of everyone. It will be amazing.

I woke up and Val was already awake on his phone.

I listened to who he was talking to and it sounded like Maks.

"This has nothing to do with you! Why cant I be happy?!" Val yelled into the phone.

He looked over to my side of the bed to see I was awake.

"Whatever Maks. You are so selfish. I have to go. Don't bother calling again." Val yelled. He threw his phone on the ground.

He let out a sigh.

"Sorry you had to hear that J." Val said moving closer to me.

He laid his head right in front of mine so we were face to face.

I didn't say anything. I just closed my eyes and tried to fall back asleep. I felt his strong arms pull me over to him and he cuddled up to me.

Then the strangest thing happened. I felt a tear fall onto my skin. I instantly opened my eyes.

"Val..." I said sitting up and holding him in my arms.
"Baby, don't cry... Whats wrong?" I have only seen Val cry once. It was the night of the finale of DWTS.

"Maks.. He is f***ing upset that I got you pregnant. He thinks I ruined my career and should leave you to take care of the baby f***ing alone until I have my life together. I thought everyone would be happy for me, and I am finally happy, so why does Maks have to screw everything up? Ive always wanted kids. And I wouldn't want kids without anyone else than you." Val said.

That kind of made me upset. Maks wanted Val to leave me?! What the hell?

"He is just jealous that he doesn't have a strong relationship with someone like we do. He doesn't have a woman that he can have children with like you do." I said rubbing his back trying to calm him down.
"We have each other, and who does he have? Nobody." I said kissing his lips.

"You are the best. I definitely feel better now." He said kissing my forehead.

Val and I invited a bunch of his friends from DWTS over to tell them about the baby.

We invited Artem, Emma, Sasha, Keo, Lindsay, Mark, Peta, Sharna, Henry, and Witney.

I was mostly friends with them all from when I was on season 19.

They all came over and they knew we had an important announcement so they were all anxious.

"Janel! I missed you!" Sharna said hugging and squeezing me tightly.

"I missed you too Shar." I said hugging her back.

"Its my fierce Burlesque babe." Artem said walking over to me and hugging me.

It was so nice seeing everyone because I haven't seen them since the finale.

"Alright we have an announcement." Val said. Everyone went quiet.

"You're getting married!?" Emma shouted.

"Um.. No." I said giggling.

Val put his hand on my stomach.

"Janel is pregnant!" Mark shouted in shock.

"Oh my god! This is amazing!" Witney said running to hug me first. She felt my stomach with her hand.

"Is that why you have been wearing baggy and dark cloths in all your IG posts?" Lindsay said.

"Yeah.. My stomach is actually huge." I said lifting up my shirt to show my big pregnant belly.

"Im so excited! Im going to be Uncle Keo!" Keo said and we all laughed.

Emma came up to me and put her hand on my stomach.

"Im so happy for you!" Emma said wrapping her arms around me.

The rest of the time people congratulated us and hugged us. We made sure they wouldn't tell anyone yet.

Once everyone left Sharna, Emma, and Witney invited me to go get ice cream with them.

We went to the beach afterwards and talked all night long. I told them about the thing with Maks and Val and they gave me advice about it. They were so supportive. They also had things they needed to get off their chest and tell us about. We stayed at the beach till 2 am. We didn't want to leave. I left my phone at home. So Val is probably freaking out.

Emma drove me back to Val's house. I gave her a hug goodbye and walked in.

When I got inside, there was a hole in the wall, shattered glass on the floor, a window knocked out, and Val was laying on the couch and he was a mess...

What happened?!
