Chapter 1

This is a letter made by Sharon Raydor to her adopted daughter days before she was about to die 

Dear Alexandra (Alexa), 

I'm writing this letter to you probably I'm not around anymore. I told Buzz to give the whole family something. Yours is specifically separate and you will know what it is once you open the file. Ask Buzz when you are ready to view it. Few months leading up to my death, Cynthia showed up at P.A.B. and told me that you were my long-lost daughter  because of the DNA match and I was so happy. 

When you first showed up at P.A.B. your situation was the same as my fostered-son, Rusty, your brother. No mom, dad, or anything like that. Your situation was close to my heart and we both just bonded on things we both didn't expect. Two weeks later, I talked to my husband, Andy and we both decided to adopt you and give you a family. I was so happy when you said yes to the adoption. 

Always remember that I love you very much. I never thought I would adopt another child after Rusty, but I did it's a good thing I did. Probably you're thinking who your father is. Well, you met him, he was part of your rescue mission, an F.B.I. Agent, and his name is Fritz Howard. I'm not sure how you will take it in. I wish I had an opportunity or the chance to tell you the truth. I was so focused on the safety of the family. 

Don't ever think that I neglected you or abandoned you because when you went missing I moved heaven and earth to find you and you didn't have any identification on you, so it's a little harder. Someone took you away from me and I want you to open an investigation case about your disappearance. Bring it up to your father, Andy. Also, bring it up to the squad. If you need a lawyer, you have Andrea at your disposal. 

The people you need to trust are the squad, Andrea, both of your fathers, if Former Chief Johnson shows up, you can also trust her because I trust her too. Also, I love both of your fathers, Andrea, and Chief Johnson. They are the people that you can trust and all of them loves you. You are not alone on this battle. You are the greatest thing that ever happened in my life and my heart. 

I know all of them know that we didn't really had a lot of time together to bond as mother and daughter, but I still love you very much. Don't ever forget that. I loved you even before the adoption happened. If you need a weapon, ask your father, Andy. I already gave my permission, all you have to do it practice for it. Like what I said to your brother, Rusty, your weapon is your last resort. I love you so much. 

I know that you are leaning away from your other father ever since you knew about the truth and definitely have many questions to ask him, but please for my sake; give him a chance in your heart and be a father to you. He's trying his best, so should you. I'm really sorry for leaving you so soon. I never thought it would be this soon in my life too. I thought it would be in a few more years. 

I'm really sorry, sweetheart. Just promise me that you will give your other father a chance. I really want all of you to be a trusting, caring, and loving family. I know that your father loves you very much and it's just really bad timing. The affair that I had with Fritz then going back to Chief Johnson was really a bummer to me. Don't ever think that your father left you and I because he never did. 

He always thinks about you, Alexa. We just couldn't continue our relationship together. He chose to be with Chief Johnson and there's nothing I can do about it if his mind is already made up. Of course, I loved your father and I still do, but I need to put that behind me because I married Andy. Andy is the only one that stood beside me through all this time. Don't forget to tell my bestfriend and the best trial lawyer that I ever met, Andrea, that I love her so much. 

She needs to hear it everyday. She will always be on your side, defending, loving, and caring for you and your well-being. Andrea is just continuing my role as a mother to you, so please don't push her away too. You both need each other all the time, both of you lost me in your presence. I'll always be thankful to Andrea for being there all the time for our family and myself too. I will always love D.D.A. Andrea Hobbs. Tell her that for me. 

Whenever you are sad, just hug your teddy and think of me and I'm just around you. Also, don't forget to give teddy a squeeze on the stomach, so you can hear my voice from time to time. I love you so much Alexandra Raydor-Flynn. I was so happy that you wanted to use my last name and Andy's last name too. If you need to borrow my things just let Andy know and tell him I said yes to you. 

I feel like I  left you in a terrible time to be alone. Andrea told me that you will be testifying against Stroh, so just don't be scared and tell the truth, also, when it's the right time, bring up the threatening letters that you have been receiving. Andrea and the whole squad are not leaving your side throughout this trial. I'm so thankful that I have a team that will have your back for anything. 

So, that being said, don't be afraid to approach Lt. Provenza. He's been on your side from the whole time you showed up at P.A.B. He also cared for you when I needed someone. I love you so much, Alexa. Even though I'm gone, you can't pause your life. You have to move on even if I'm not beside you anymore. You also have to mention that to your father, Andy. I know that everyone are hurting right now and I completely understand. 

Take as much time as you wany. I love you so much, Alexa. I just couldn't say it enough of it. Also, in a few months Christmas is coming I want you to help your father, Andy, and Andrea to put up the tree. Do it for me, I know I'm asking a lot from you but those things you will eventually have to do it if you can't do it right away. The most important thing to remember is that I love you very much, Alexandra Raydor-Flynn. I love you very much.
