Chapter 24: The Phone Call

   "Will- will he be ok," Seth said as he stopped crying. Although he was still sniffling.

   "I'm sure he'll be fine." Renee said as she walked towards the couch.

   "You know, I'm just gonna go to bed. I feel tired," Rebecca said. "But if Dean comes back before we leave this place, he gets the bed." Rebecca then turned to the room and walked slowly.

   "Me too," Jonathan said as he wiped small teara from his eyes. "I tired."

   "Would you like me to help you get ready for bed?" Renee said standing up a bit. Jonathan nodded his head excitedly. Renee laughed and followed Jonathan down the hallway. Roman wiped away tears that stained his cheeks. He sat on the couch and Setn followed him.

   "How'd the date go?" Seth said smiling a little.

   "It wasn't a date. There was a third wheel," Roman saod frowning.

   "Why didn't you guys tell him or her to leave," Seth asked Roman.

   "Seth, I WAS the thrid wheel," Roman told Seth who had a small smirk on his face. "It's not funny. She could have told me she had a boyfriend. "

   "Ouch, that must hurt," Renee said coming out of the hallway and sitting down on the other couch.

   "Oh it did." Roman said smiling a little.

   "I bet the dude was a better looking than you, " Seth told Roman who gave him a small punch on the shoulder.

   "Whatever, " Roman said rolling his eyes.

   "So did she drop hints like she wanted to be with you or what?" Renee asked seemingly getting interested.

   "She dropped a lot of hints while we texted but now I guess not." Roman said and then he shrugged a bit.

   "She definitely dropped major hints," Seth said as he made himself comfortable on the couch.

   "How would you know," Roman said said getting a bit defensive, "did you see the texts?"

   "Everyone saw the texts, she clearly dropped hints. I thought you would come back with a girlfriend. "  Seth explained to Roman.

   "She sounds like someone who you'd date and then she'd like dump you for a random guy," Renee said to Roman. "If she had a boyfriend the whole time, she shouldn't habe been dropping hints like that."

   "Guess you're right, I juat kinda-" Roman was interrupted by Renee's phone going off.

   "It's your parents, I'll put it on speaker, " Renee said and she quickly picked up with it on speaker.

   "Hi, you're on speaker, you mind?" Renee asked them.

   "No actually it's better. Dean is fine," Hunter said over the phone relieving everyone. "He should be back right before Smackdown so we can make it to the show."

   "That's great. You boys wanna say anything?" Renee said as she turned towards the boys.

   "Tell Dean we all said hi and that we love him," Seth said quickly with his voice cracked a little bit.

    "Will do. So are the kids fine?" Hunter asked.

   "Jonathan and Rebecca are in the rooms and Roman and Seth are here." Renee told Hunter over the phone.

   "Ok well bye." Hunter said.

   "Bye," Renee retorted back and with that they clocked and there was a sigh of relief.

I know it came a little later in the day but hey still on Tuesday. I fell behind on  my other fanfics due to me being sick and all but it's here and I hope you enjoyed! :)
