Draco and Narcissa step into the informal lounge, to see Voldemort there.
"Oh! My Lord, our apologies, we did not know you were here. We shall use ano-"
"It is fine, Narcissa. If it is quick, you may do your business here."
Narcissa bows her head in thanks, but Draco just smiles and blows Voldemort a kiss from behind her.
'Thank you, love,' he mouths, knowing that Voldemort's only here because he wants to know what's wrong with Draco as well.
Voldemort winks slightly, almost invisibly, in acknowledgment to Draco before Narcissa looks up again.
"Come, Draco, sit here. I'll perform the spell once you're ready."
Draco sits, sighing as he smiles up at his mother. "Alright, Mother, I'm ready."
Voldemort, since Narcissa's back is turned, gives up all pretenses of indifference and reading, lowering the book and staring straight at them.
He gives Draco a small smile as Narcissa starts muttering the spell under her breath, reassuring him as he could see that his love was feeling nervous.
A parchment flew out of Narcissa's wand as she finished the incantation, and she grabbed it out of the air before it could fall.
"Alright... You're not ill...? All your vitals are fine, perfect health, in fact... You don't have food poisoning, I don't understand? You- gasp!"
Draco tenses up, as does Voldemort, but he hides it well. "Mother? M-Mother you're scaring me."
Narcissa slowly lowers her hand from her mouth, tears in her shock filled eyes. "I... Draco, honey... You- Dragon, you're- you're pregnant."
Voldemort's mouth drops open, shock colouring his face. Pregnant? His love was pregnant? Oh, dear, why was he feeling faint? That musn't be good.
Draco wasn't fairing much better. "P-pregnant? Are you sure? I- I didn't know that that was even possible!"
Narcissa nods, still in shock. "It only has ever been recorded to happen between two very powerful wizards."
Voldemort shakes his head harshly, trying to pull himself together. It's fine. He's fine. In fact, he's pregnant! So everything's better than fine.
Narcissa sinks into the seat behind her, the seat beside Voldemort's, hand over her mouth again.
"Oh, Merlin," she breaths. "I'm too young to be a grandmother. Oh Merlin! A child, my baby's with child!"
Draco's shaking now, looking really scared. He turns to Voldemort, tears in his eyes. He needs him, he really needs him.
'Can she know?' he mouths. 'Please? Just her? As my healer?'
Voldemort thinks for a minute, before he nods. "With a vow."
Draco sags in relief as his mother looks at Voldemort, confused. "What?"
He stands up, beckoning for Narcissa to stand as well.
"Draco, you will be the binder of this vow, alright?"
Draco jumps up, still scared but excited to tell his mother, his one confidant - besides his lover, of course.
"Yes, of course. Oh, Mother, I'm so excited!"
Narcissa is still rightfully confused, and bewildered, but she does as told and grips Voldemort's arm.
"So what is she vowing...?"
Voldemort turns to Draco and looks him in the eye, slipping into his mind to talk.
' "First, tell no one of the father. Second, do everything in her power to keep you safe and healthy during and after the pregnancy. Third and last, tell no one of the pregnancy. Alright?" '
' "Wha- Tom! I don't need to be protected! I am prefectly-" '
' "I know, love, but from what I've read, male pregnancy's are really draining; not just physically, but magically. I won't let anything happen to you." '
Draco's face softens, and he sighs. "Fine."
Narcissa is looking at Draco with shock; did he just tell the Dark Lord 'fine'? What?! What is-
"Alright, here we go.
Do you, Narcissa Malfoy, vow to never reveal the identity, location, or nature of the father to Draco Malfoy's baby to anyone, be they light or dark, human or creature, and everything in between?"
Narcissa, still shocked, quickly gives herself a mental shake. "I do."
"And do you, Narcissa Malfoy, vow to do everything in your power to protect one Draco Malfoy and his baby, during and after the pregnancy, to the best of your ability?"
She looks shocked he even had to ask. "I do," she says as she gives him an 'of course' look.
Draco smiles softly, before finishing the vow.
"And do you, Narcissa Malfoy, vow to tell no one of the pregnancy, be they light or dark, human or creature, and everything in between?"
Narcissa looks a little worried now, but she ends the vow with "I do."
The vines of light fade away, and Voldemort and Narcissa release the others arm.
As soon as they've stepped back, Draco throws himself at his mother. "Thank you, Mother. This means so much to me."
She hugs him back, feeling even more worried now. "Draco, honey, you're worrying me. Who is the father?"
A warm, velvety voice answers her. "I am."
She whips around to see a handsome man, his chocolatey brown hair falling in gentle, perfectly coiffed waves, framing a pale, aristocratic face holding pale pink diamond lips, a long, straight nose, and ruby red eyes.
Narcissa stares dumbfounded for a second, before stuttering, in an incredulous voice, "M-my Lord?"
Voldemort dips his head slightly, smirking. "Yes, Narcissa, dear."
Draco walks over to him, slapping his arm. "Oh, don't tease her, Tom. I want her to like you, not fear you."
Narcissa plops down into her chair, brain overloaded with shock. "I don't... I can't... Just what...?"
Draco smiles at her. "Tom and I are together; have been for two years. I really wanted to tell you, but I obviously couldn't. But now I can! I can tell you everything, we can gossip like we used to! You're the only one who knows, Mother; well, besides the elves. Oh, that reminds me; Plip!"
*pop*
"Yes, Master Draco?"
"Plip, I'd like you to let all the house elves know that my mother knows about Tom and I, alright? She's also to be my healer."
Plip frowns. "Healer? Master Riddle's being sick?"
Narcissa starts. Riddle? What?
Draco shakes his head. "No, no, I'm pregnant."
Plip gasps, and snaps his fingers.
*pop* *pop* *pop* *pop* *pop* *pop*
"Plip called us'es?"
"Master Riddle's being pregnant!"
"Gasp!" The house elves all gasp, looking at Draco wide eyed.
"Master Riddle being pregnant?"
"Master Riddle being pregnant!"
"Master Lordie be taking care of Master Riddle, you hears Turnip?"
"Yes!"
"Yes, Master Lordie! You hears Turnip?"
Voldemort sighs, rolling his eyes. "Yes, Turnip, I hear you. I will."
Draco beams. "Aww, thank you guys. Looking out for me like that."
"Of course, Master Riddle!" They chorus.
Draco smiles at them, tells them all what he told Plip, then dismisses them.
"That Turnip is a real work," Voldemort mutters.
Draco grins. "Aw, come on, you know you like her. In fact, I think she's your favourite."
He scoffs back. "As if."
"...Draco?"
Draco turns, eyebrows raised. "Hmm? Yes, Mother?"
"...I think I'm going to go and take a nice long bath."
Draco frowns. "Are you okay? I... you're, you're not... you're not mad, are you?"
Narcissa quickly shakes her head. "No, of course not Dragon! I'm just still in shock, and I need to process. I'm still having trouble believing that you fucked the Dark Lord, excuse my language, even after seeing you hit him."
Draco blushes a furious red. "Oh. Well. Um. We'll talk later?"
She nods, before standing and leaving the informal lounge.
Voldemort wraps his arms around Draco from behind, resting his chin on his loves shoulder. "That went well, yes?"
Draco nods, smiling happily as his blush dies down. "Yeah. It did."
They sigh, taking comfort in eachothers hold.
"Oh dear Merlin," Draco suddenly states, full of shock.
Voldemort frowns. "Draco?"
"I'm pregnant."
