"Oh thank goodness Kai reached in time. He's a bloody lifesaver, isn't he?" Stacy gasped as she hugged Stella tight, glad that she was still safe and happy after that night with the creeps.

Stella blushed a little at the fact that Stacy liked Kai, and did not exactly hate his guts like she did for Stella's ex, "Yeah, he makes me so happy," she said smiling and Stacy squeezed her shoulder reassuringly, "I'm glad he does. And hey, I'm so happy for you that you finally found your happiness for him. You took your time, and it was all worth it because you made the damn right decision."

"You really think so?" Stella asked, her face beaming with happiness.

"Of course I do, why wouldn't I? You've been dating for what? 3 years now?"

"Yeah dumb-fuck. Me and him had our 3 years anniversary celebrated like a week ago for which you decorated." Stella said laughing and smacked Stacy's arm playfully.

Stacy rolled her eyes and smacked her back, "I know. I was kidding."

"Yeah, sure." Stella giggled rolling her eyes, "Now c'mon get your ass up. We are gonna be experiencing real  baby delivery process this year, Imagine you getting sick like last time."

"Bitch don't fucking remind me."

"Oh come on then." Stella said as she dragged her out of their dorm, taking the keys with her. Them already dressed in their scrubs.

"Honestly, sometimes I think I wanna be a nephrologist but they're reaching me stuff completely irrelevant of my speciality." Stacy said shrugging her shoulders and Stella nodded her head, "Well that's a fair curiosity, but who says that a doctor should be learnt and specialized in one specific part of the body? They're supposed to be all-rounders. Look at Kai, for example. He wants to be cardiologist, but he went through all these practical as well, but he studies about hearts more than all the other organs."

Stacy grinned at Stella giving her a knowing look "Mhm, take yours for example."

"I was trying to be fucking serious, bro." She replied rolling her eyes and let out a soft laugh.

The two stopped talking once they reached the doctor's office who was going to show them the process.

"Good morning to all of you, I'm Dr. Lily and I'll be showing you how to deliver a baby under any kind of circumstances today. For example, we have Mrs. Mayfield in the labor room for now, and we are waiting for the dilation to occur, and wait for the right time to be pushed. But future doctors, there are certain conditions where the mother isn't properly dilated or can't push due to any kind of reason. Be it weakness or pre-birth. Here's what you're all supposed to do in those kind of situations."

The gynac went on about the different kind of delivery processes, while the students made notes. Soon, it was time for the delivery and they went inside the O.T. and observed and did little helps and they baby was finally delivered all healthy and adorable, "Aw look at him, it's a little boy." Dr. Lily said taking the little baby boy in her arms before giving him to her mother who was covered in sweat and happy tears of joy.

"He's so beautiful. Congratulations, Mrs. Mayfield." Stella said smiling at the crying mother who called her over. Stella looked at the doctor reassuringly and she nodded her head smiling.

Mrs. Mayfield told her to bend down and so she did, and she kissed Stella's head, "You're a beautiful kind woman, I wish you the best and you will have really beautiful kids one day. And you'll be an amazing mom."

"Aw, that's so sweet of you. Thank you so much, and you also will be an amazing mother to your son." Stella said smiling.

Everyone in the O.T. clapped for the new mother before she was taken out back to her room, and the students did the everyday hygiene routine, taking off their disposable clothing and gloves, and washed their hands with the hospital-grade liquid soap before walking out and the doctor gave them some theories to learn for their exam. Soon, it was almost time for them to leave.

"So, library session today huh?" Stacy asked once they reached their dorm.

Stella nodded her head and smiled, "Yep, he's going to be teaching us about the important stuff that's sure to come in the exams. Man, I'm so sad, he's graduating next week after his exams."

"It's okay, its just for one year. You'll be back with him before you even know it." Stacy said giving her a small side hug.

"Well yeah, just hoping he won't bail on me after a whole entire year. I mean, don't get me wrong I trust him more than anything but you know. Just a feeling."

"It'll be fine. Trust me, he loves you so much."

Stella gave her a grateful smile before changing into her regular black tank top and light blue jeans, and pulling her hair up in a tight, long, sleek ponytail before looking back at Stacy, "You ready to go?"

"Yep, let's get going. God, I'm tired though." Stacy said yawning.

"I know I'm tired as well. But oh well, what can we say? Life of a doctor m'lady."

"Touche."

They took a right turn and entered the library, the librarian, Ana gave them a greeting smile and pointed behind a shelf where Kai would be sitting, "Always on time. Got a good man right there, Stel."

"I get that a lot, thank you." Stella laughed softly before walking behind the shelf full of books and Kai was sitting on a chair beside a round table as he wrote something, his tongue slightly sticking out from the corner of his lips, Music playing softly in his ears.

His eyes fell on Stacy as she sat down on the chair opposite him and he took out the pods from his ears, "Where's Stell?"

"Behind you, staring. Well, admiring." Stacy said laughing softly and a blush rose up Kai's neck as he turned around still sitting on his chair, his back against Stacy and he put his arms up on the back support of the chair, his head between his arms as he smiled up at Stella, "Hi love."

"Hey handsome." Stella said smiling at him.

Kai smiled back motioning her to sit on the chair beside him and she sat down on it. The chair was slightly far from Kai's so he scooted her chair with one swift motion, kissing her softly and Stella blushed at his actions and kissed him back before pulling away, "Your exams start tomorrow don't they?"

"Yeah they do."

"But you still made time for us to tutor your juniors?" Stella asked smiling.

Stacy cleared her throat and the two looked at her, "Probably because one of them is the love of his life, ain't that right Kai?"

"Damn right, yeah." Kai laughed shaking his head, "So anyway, before we start talking on a full fledge, I'll give you the notes to avoid any distractions."

Kai always knew the right thing to say and do, he knew that once friends get together for studying they end up talking and gossiping, and barely have any time left later on for the studying. So he gives them the notes first and saves the rest of the time for the gossips.

Stella and Stacy wrote down the notes and later on, as promised was the time for their gossip sessions.

"So Kai, you'll be a certified graduate doctor next week. How's the feels?" Stacy asked wiggling her eyebrows.

"Oh I'm nervous, like extremely." Kai said answering two questions at once.

One question that was asked by Stacy and the second question which was in his mind, about proposing to Stella on graduation day.

"It'll be fine, my love. You're like the most brilliant student I know, and you'll do amazing on the test."

"Yeah yeah, I hope I do. Thank you, love." he said kissing her temple.

They spent the rest of the time talking about their day, and a secret party after Kai's graduation. They were the happiest three, well four. Kai had a best friend as well, who was also his blood related brother, Liam.

Only, he was busy with his girlfriend for other things, but the four vibed well together.

Their life was just perfect.
