Chapter 4 The Offer

Mika and Yuki just got more cautious of him and the surroundings. The man continued,

"I actually forgot to introduce myself right? My name is Alastor. Nice to meet you. Currently we are in one of the buildings belonging to Lisztomania (z is silent)." Mika asked,

"What kind of organisation is this? And who named you sir? Because that name literally means tormentor." Alastor's eyes lit up, he said,

"Surprisingly someone other than boss knows my name's meaning." Mika asked,

"Is that a big deal?" Alastor nodded, he continued,

"As my name suggests I usually deal with torturing others to get information out of them." Mika said,

"Yeah sure, the one who tortures got tortured himself and at that in front of two girls and they had to save him. Yeah sure."

Alastor looked at Mika with an annoyed gaze, he replied,

"Yeah sure but you didn't even know that you were an Holder until recently, aren't I right?" Mika replied,

"I did know what i was but I didn't know where to look for people like me."

Alastor and Mika started bickering and Yuki was just enjoying it whole heartedly. Suddenly they heard a voice saying,

"Why is the hallway so loud today?"

Alastor bowed and seeing that Mika and Yuki mimicked him. Alastor smiled, he said,

"Boss, these two girls helped me when the Paracosm guys were trying to take the pearls and the map from me."

His boss looked at them with a vicious gaze. He asked,

"They do not belong to any group or organisation?" Alastor replied by shaking his head. His boss asked Mika and Yuki,

"Do you wish to join my organization?"

Mika grabbed Yuki's hand and replied with a straight no. Alastor and his boss were surprised by hearing that straight reply.

The boss was about to touch Mika on the shoulder but she avoided his hand and said,

"Please do not touch my shoulder." She kept avoiding his touch. Everyone was surprised after seeing that.
