Arlo Diaz has lived in Woodsboro her whole life, along with her best friend Chad Meeks-Martin. At first, her mother was wary of letting her be friends with someone so close to the Woodsboro murders, but she soon grew to love him. And so did Arlo, but not how she thought she would, although she had to admit she's had a thing since they first met.
And as soon as she thinks of telling him, she's quickly struck by reality. Arlo found him making out with a girl with makeup, colored hair, and heeled boots. She went home crying, thinking how stupid she was for even thinking she had a chance with Chad. So she decided from then on she wouldn't tell Chad about her feelings. Ever, because she wouldn't get her rom-com movie ending. After all, life isn't a movie. But with Tara's incident and a new killer on the loose, maybe this is the push Arlo needs to finally tell him. Before their dead.
