Chad took a deep breath, trying to make it look like he wasn't crying. We've been sitting outside the bar for a few minutes now, and his cologne starting to take over the smell of the whole car. "Chad, we don't have to go," I said, trying to reassure him. He shook his head and sighed heavily. "No it's okay," he answered quietly. "Okay, whenever you're ready," I gave him a soft smile and he returned it. "What did I do to deserve a friend like you?" he asked squeezing my hand. I tried my best to smile, trying to ignore the small pain in my chest. "I don't know, now that I think about it, you didn't do anything," I joked and we both laughed. "Let's go," he nodded, and with that, we got off. As we walked to the bar he threw his arm over my shoulder and I grinned up at him. Chad had always been about a whole head taller than me, and my red platform Converse never really made me taller.

We walked into the bar and I spotted our group, along with a grinning Liv. Chad slowly moved his arm and Liv quickly ran up to him. I frowned when she gave him a peck on his cheek. "Where were you guys?" Mindy asked curiously. "Traffic, cars everywhere" I explained grabbing the pool stick Amber handed me while she walked to the bar. "Interesting," Mindy mumbled under her breath. Amber came back and I quickly handed her stick back while she gave me her drink. I placed it down on the table and sat down to watch the game.

Chad gave me a look and I noticed he was uncomfortable. He had decided not to say anything to Liv, in case she was the killer. "Liv do you mind getting me a drink, I know they like you here," I smiled sweetly at the girl and she nodded. I gave Chad a small nod and he gave me a small wink. "Obvious," Mindy muttered into my ear as she walked by. I rolled my eyes but quickly grinned seeing Liv with my drink. I thanked her and took a sip. After a few minutes of us talking about how we were all suspects, I spotted a guy slowly walking toward us. "Yo Liv, you want a real drink? Or are you happy at this kids' table" I looked at Liv and she rolled her eyes.

This must be the guy. Chad looked at me and I quickly stood up, standing near Chad, knowing what he was about to do. "Okay, listen up uglier Micheal Myers it was a summer fling, it meant nothing," Chad stated stomping toward the guy. "Was I talking to you," the guy said looking up at Chad. "You know what that pretty thing seems to really have her eyes on me," I looked at him wide-eyed and I could see Chad's hand fist. "Why don't you come with me babe, I'll show you a good time," I scrunched my face in disgust and Chad quickly stepped in front of the guy, blocking his view from me. "Don't fucking talk to her," Chad spat and I watched the guy's hands quickly ball into fists. "Come on babe, your chub will make it easy to be rough," I heard the guy's voice, I could practically see the smirk. "No fucking way asshole," Chad said quickly, I watched the guy's hand come up.

I quickly grabbed Chad's arm and pushed him back, stepping in front of him. I groaned feeling a stinging pressure on my jaw and lip. "Shit," the guy mumbled. "What the hell man," Chad quickly stepped in front of me but I held his arm seeing the guy pull out a knife. "Chad, leave it," I said sternly hearing the lady from the bar yelling at the guy to leave. "Chad," I said feeling his arm tense up. The guy quickly walked out and Chad glared at him the whole time. "You kids too," I scowled at the lady but we all made our way outside, my arm wrapped around Chad's arm. "Thanks, babe," Liv smiled at Chad and I quickly let go of his arm while Liv wrapped her arms around him.
