Elena:"Am I late?"
Said Elena as she sat down next to Vulces in the coffee shop.
Vulces:"Don't worry, I got here a few minutes ago too."
Elena:"Wow, it really have been some time since we last met huh? And you seem... Different..."
Vulces:"You think so? Like how."
Elena looked away blushing.
Elena:"Well you certainly got yourself some charm..."
Vulces chuckled, this caught Elena's attention.
Elena:"What's so funny?"
Vulces:"Well you're beautiful as always so getting a compliment from you made me quite happy."
Elena:"Oh you flatter me~"
Vulces took a sip from his mug full of coffee of his choice and took a deep breath. He pulled out a letter from Nariemi for Elena.
Vulces:"This is a recruitment letter from a friend."
Elena:"Recruitment letter? But I don't need a job right now."
Vulces:"Could you read it first, I know it will attract your attention."
Elena sat in silence and started reading the letter with curiosity. Halfway through the letter her eyes widened and the pace of her reading increased. When she finished the letter, she turned to Vulces and spoke.
Elena:"Is this a joke? World ending? Need of strong individuals? Are you joking?"
Vulces put his hand on Elena's shoulder.
Vulces:"It seemed like a joke to me at first too but believe me, its real."
Elena put his hand on her forehead and took a deep breath.
Elena:"Just what did you got yourself into..."
Vulces:"Don't worry about it, I know it seems sketchy but believe me they're good guys."
Elena took a deep breath.
Elena:"So you called me on a date to just recruit me for your team?"
Vulces stumbled on his words for a second.
Vulces:"Not necessarily recruitment, I wanted to see you too."
Elena:"Oh wow, our heartless hero Vulces actually wanted to see me?"
Elena blushed and looked away. This didn't escaped Vulces's attention. Vulces smiled sincerely and took Elena's hand.
Vulces:"Want to grab some dinner?"
Elena:"Sure~"
After convincing Elena to join his team, Vulces had one person in mind to acquire. He probably should've asked that person in the first hand but he disregarded that fact for a nice date.

Vulces:"Are you down ?"
Aristle:"Hell yes I am!"
Aristle shouted with excitement.
Aristle:"Beating bad guys with our powers like a superhero agency? Count me in brother!"
Vulces:"Never lose passionate behaivour of yours okay?"
Aristle:"I won't, don't you worry."
Vulces:"But please lower your voice, two grown men shouting in public about superheroes seems kinda embarrasing."
Aristle snapped back to reality and looked around him and saw several people looking at him. His face got red really fast and begged Vulces to change places. After going back to Aristle's place, which is just a small studio flat his parent bought him to stay while studying.
Vulces:"Wow dude you really are... minimalistic..."
Aristle shoved Vulces jokingly but put a little more force than usual just for some extra measure.
Aristle: "I like it this way, don't you judge."
After all the talk about Nariemi and the team was done Vulces picked his stuff and started leaving. Just as he was leaving the door he got grabbed by the shoulder.
Aristle: "By the way how did your date go?"
Vulces:"It was nice, I got her in the team. We got coffee, dinner... and she may have given me a kiss on the cheek while parting ways."
Aristle let out a sharp toned voice just like a grade school girls.
Aristle: "You did it you crazy f*cker you did it!"
Vulces:"Language!"
Aristle snickered and closed the door behind Vulces.
As Vulces was going home he started falling into deep thoughts again. He got two powerful allies, now what? What are they going to do? Are they going to fight some underground cult or something?
He was going to ask the details when he visit Nariemi next time. About all the things to do with the world ending.
In a brief moment of being lost in his own thoughts, Vulces bumped into something. Someone to be exact because that someone didn't hesitated to grabbing Vulces from his collar and pulling him upwards.
???:"Huh? Is that you... Vulces?"
Vulces rubbed his head in pain before opening his eyes and seeing the person who just grabbed him.
Vulces:"Melaenis?"
They looked into each other eyes in disbelief. Melaenis, the guy who got bumped, was even more in shock then Vulces.
Vulces:"Didn't you went abroad 4 years ago?"
