"Hey, Nora? We have some news..."

The Latina looked up, still sitting on the couch. Vinnie and Kyanna had just returned home from their date. Both of them radiated a positive energy, which Nora immediately caught on to.

"What's up, guys? How was-"

Before she could ask any questions, she noticed the tears running down her cousin's face.

"Yo, you good Kyanna?" she asked.

The Hispanic woman nodded, gently wiping her face. Her smile in that moment was very abnormal, though very joyful at the same time, more so than she had ever expressed. It was made pretty clear that they had a monumental night.

Nora turned to Vinnie, already having the idea that something amazing happened.

"No way... Vin, did you-?"

The Brazilian nodded with a huge grin on his face, giving off the implication that he made his big move. Kyanna held out her ring finger, showing off what was placed upon it.

The Latina's jaw dropped, impressed with the elegant appearance of her new engagement ring.

"Holy shit!" she exclaimed. Oh my God, he fucking did it!

She then pulled Kyanna in close for a hug, prideful of her younger cousin's recent engagement.

"I'm so proud of you, Cuzz!" the Latina tomboy added.

"Aw, thanks, Nora!" the Hispanic mother replied, tears still dripping from her eyes.

"N-Now, my little cousin's gonna have a real dad." she said, almost shedding a few tears herself. Though, she typically tried to hold them in, as she didn't like others seeing her cry, even if it was her own family. I ain't no pussy. Not gonna cry...

"He's always been his real dad." Kyanna stated.

Vin gave off another warm smile, appreciating that kind, yet valid, statement. I'm more of a father than his real dad will ever be...

Suddenly, the 4 year old boy they had just mentioned, as well as a girl with cat ears on her head, stepped out into the living room, wondering what all the commotion was about.

"What's going on, Vinnie?" the catgirl asked, wearing, what looked to be, a red and white maid outfit.

"Momo, me and Kyanna are getting married." he exclaimed. "And YOU can be our little flower girl."

Momo's deep-yellow, almost golden, eyes widened. "WHAAAAAATTTT?!"

The innocent catgirl began to jump up and down with absolute joy. Being the flower girl in a wedding sounded exciting. I get to toss pretty flowers!

"Papa!" the 4 year old boy shouted, holding onto the Brazilian's leg.

He looked down, smiling at his new step-son. "Philly."

The catgirl then latched onto his other leg, seeming as if she were a child as well. "Vinnie-Van! I'll be the bestest flower girl ever!"

He chuckled, feeling a bit awkward having them hold onto his legs like that.

God, these two are something else. This must be what it feels like to be a dad.

About an hour later, Vinnie decided to grab his cellphone out and break the big news to everyone about his recent engagement, which included friends, extended family, etc. Kyanna was laying on the couch, still weeping her eyes out with how happy she was knowing that she was finally getting married.

The Brazilian browsed through his contacts, almost forgetting how many people's numbers he still had saved in his old, flip-phone, some of which he was unsure were still alive or not.
