Intense flashbacks of my afternoon with Scott kept tormenting my brain for the entire week. I couldn't lock them off. Just a constant bombardment. It wasn't a complaint, it just made me want to know him more. Know what he was like and what he was into.
'Fuck!' Another flashback. 'He turned into someone else completely.' But I liked it... No, I loved it.
My phone went off. Scott. We had been messaging consistently since that day. It never felt forced, or awkward, just a naturally flowing conversation that never ended. Good morning and good night messages. A gentleman.
'So, what's the name of the club you're going to again tonight?' - Scott
'Blue Orchid.' – Theo
Scott would never step foot in a club. He had made that abundantly clear. He was more into brunches, lunches, dinners, and quick trips to wherever he pleased. But I still sent him the location of the club.
'Is that an invitation to come and pick you up tonight?' – Scott
We hadn't seen each other since that afternoon. I had wanted to see him again, but I didn't want to come across as too clingy. Besides, his work schedule seemed extremely chaotic.
'Only if you are comfortable.' - Scott
'I would love for you to pick me. Will you be up that late?' – Theo
'I can break my bedtime for you.' - Scott
'Would I be taking you away from your friends?' - Scott
'They will understand.' – Theo
Those bitches better understand.

I don't know if it was the fact that I was going to see Scott later, but I was feeling euphoric. The music was flowing through my body, the lights were catching the gold shimmer on my skin, and the drinks kept coming.
When I told Jax and the twins that Scott was picking me up later all three pairs of eyebrows shot up, but no one said no. I think they knew I needed it. Needed to have some fun and let loose. And that's what I was doing.
I wore the shortest skirt in my closet for a reason. My ass. I knew it was between peeping out and blatantly staring, but I looked cute.
The black from my fishnet stockings, for a little modesty, since I was such a young lady, matched the black of my platform boots. Whereas my lilac plaid skirt matched the lilac of my crop top. The color made my skin pop, and I loved it.
I was feeling good tonight.
"Stella got her groove back." Jax giggled in my ear.
"I just feel good." I grinned. Popping my hair into a high bun. It was getting hot from all the dancing he and I were doing together.
"How convenient that it's the night Scott is picking you up." He answered slyly.
I rolled my eyes at him.
He glanced behind me, and a wide grin came across his face.
"The fuck is wrong with you?" I asked, squinting at him.
"Your barber boyfriend is here."
I froze. "Roman?" I was too scared to look back. "Shut up. He's not my boyfriend."
"You should go over there, and dance with him."
He had already started turning my body and shoving me towards Roman.
