PROLOGUE: TOO MUCH TO DRINK
JULY 27, 2014 11:59 PM
My head is spinning. I have never drunk this much alcohol in my entire life. NEVER. EVER. I never even plan on consuming this much alcohol in my life! I don't know how this happened. Ugh.
In my hand, I'm still clutching the necklace Jane just gave me. Where the hell is she? I held the necklace up and graze my fingers along the vintage print. They seem to be numbers. Or letters. I don't think I know which is which anymore. Geez.
I'm starting to see numbers in my head but they're all spinning, and I feel like I'm one of the hands being dragged along each number. The only difference is that I'm moving faster than the normal clock. It's as if a clock could have a hand expressing a nanosecond, that would be me. The numbers are getting blurry and everything went black.
Silence.
I think the clock just broke.
Silence.
I think I see something white.
